I agree, but not on the RD celebrations. Those are the most twisted forms of propaganda. Where if you state as much you "hate" them, your country, and freedom by default. It also reinforces the concept of good vs evil in simplistic terms. Communists are evil, that race or nation is evil, the terrorists are evil, again without any way to debate these points.
I can't find any redeeming quality for it, it's brainwashing of the highest order if you think about it in any depth.
Agreed. Although nearly every war is a corporate interested action. I'd rather not remember anyone who dies for corporate interests, perhaps then people would stop joining to support them.
