The federal government of the United States of America is broke now. In fact, every single dollar it spends consists of approx 60 cents in taxes we are collecting, and approx 40 cents in borrowing money. Folks, we have been living on borrowed money and on borrowed time for the past 100 years.
We are only paying off the %6 intrest rate of our debt. Now, if you cut the entire military budget off of the books to repay the debt at 500 billion a year (dod spending), it would take 28 years with no military whatsoever to pay back the debt. If you cut ALL spending of SSI and Medicare, at $2 trillion dollar raw budget, it would take 7 years to pay off our debt, with no ability to fund ANYTHING, not even the DoE. Think about it.

The Fed is still planning on using mortgage payments from all those mortgages they purchased to continue to buy treasuries. I believe that will be about 17-20 billion a month. QE is set to continue by a lesser amount no matter what the Fed announces regarding QE3. It won't be enough to shore up demand for the 1.65 trillion in addition debt annually. I'd wager the Fed will do QE3 but call it something else to give the impression it's not QE3.

We are only paying off the %6 intrest rate of our debt. Now, if you cut the entire military budget off of the books to repay the debt at 500 billion a year (dod spending), it would take 28 years with no military whatsoever to pay back the debt. If you cut ALL spending of SSI and Medicare, at $2 trillion dollar raw budget, it would take 7 years to pay off our debt, with no ability to fund ANYTHING, not even the DoE. Think about it.

The Fed is still planning on using mortgage payments from all those mortgages they purchased to continue to buy treasuries. I believe that will be about 17-20 billion a month. QE is set to continue by a lesser amount no matter what the Fed announces regarding QE3. It won't be enough to shore up demand for the 1.65 trillion in addition debt annually. I'd wager the Fed will do QE3 but call it something else to give the impression it's not QE3.

Surely, Order is better than confusion. When the order supports usury then confusion and riots will occur, its the natural consequence of injustices, and No-body is talking about the root cause of the injustices of our times, i.e. U$ury, that is sucking away the resources & human energy.
Riots are happening in many parts of the world, observe .
News travel fast, but the masses are unaware, solutions are not forth-coming, media and politicians distract with sundry issues, or create conflicts.

All the good ideas aren't worth a toot if you can't get him elected, so support the ideas and get the GOP guy (whoever) elected and demand he follow RP's lead. THAT is how the people of this once great country have a prayer to get it back. One more term of Obama will push us past the point of no return and all ideas and who would have been better is a moot concept.

It is how do we get rid of Obama.
THEN, how do we get whoever is elected to follow RP's agenda.
If he won't, then we vote in someone that will.
We keep improving who is president, we don't act like spoiled brats wasting our vote to get rid of Obama.

@JRBeaman How do we get rid of Obama? Before Obama, Bush had everyone thinking about how to get rid of him. Why, because before Obama he was the biggest spending President in U.S. history. The guy spent more domestically than LBJ who created "The Great Society."
Getting rid of Obama won't be that difficult. What will be difficult is replacing him with a Republican worth a shit. The root issue is the Federal Reserve. Anyone who doesn't focus on that is on a fool's errand.

I was no fan of Bush, except he was less sleazy than Clinton. Every president has spent more then the previous, so what? It has to do with what Obama is doing and the fact people don't realize how disasterous it will be. Obama is worse then Carter, and is destroying America. IF RP can run as a Repub, then I would certainly vote for him...

You can't do that if you help Obama get elected by either voting third party, or not voting at all. Sorry, but if you want to get rid of Obama, then you cannot do that. Yes, the FED is a serious problem, and RP knows what is needed in our country, but we need people that believe that in Washington, and it won't happen under another Obama.

@JRBeaman The reason I bring up Bush is because most of the Republicans in the race so far will probably be just like him. Romney, Gingrich, these guys are basically Bush clones. I'm glad you admit that the Federal Reserve is a problem, but you really need to focus more on getting genuine conservatives elected than just defeating Obama. Replacing a 90% socialist with a 50% socialist, will only lead to socialism at a slower rate. Think about that.

You will support a big spending Republican like Bush who will only set the Democrats up to win later because the majority of what he does will be either irrelevant or harmful. The time for compromise has long past. No one who votes throws their vote away. Besides, I'm in a VERY red state and Obama will not win here in a million years. BTW, last CNN poll showed Ron Paul had the best chance vs. Obama.
