And for your information, the Ismailies consider Ali (AS0 the base of religion (Islam). Just because of this particular belief they are known as the "assassins" or the people who consider Ali (AS) as the base of Islam. Moreover, you do not hear of any such thing like drugs being used by Ismailies in any of the books

@hmoen Historical Accuracy was not the main aim of the novel. However the general overview of Hasan's fight, against the Turks with assassins, was kept true in the fictional novel "Alamut" Written by Vladamir Bartol. It is a very very good book with vidid imagry (I was amazed how the author accurately described the landscape... just like in this video!!) and figurative language. It was named a minor masterpiece and the best book Slovenia has ever produced. I will read "The Assassins" too

Infact, this is obviously a fake information that call this great man of the history (Asan Saba) was an Ashashin.All the oppositions know it could be impossible that he was Assashin.
