woah cool, this actually worked! far out! do you know how to get the sound sequences &/or the ambient sounds to work? I can only get 2 ambient sounds to work, but none of anything else...?

@Masterlink981 You have the exact wads you need. Making a map in "Doom in Hexen Format" simply means that your map will have Hexen's capabilities (i.e. Slopes, etc.), but you don't need any of the Hexen/Heretic wads in order to do so, just set the Doom2.wad as your IWAD in the config, and you can make your map in any format you want, but for my tutorials you'll have to use Doom in Hexen format, as it's the most powerful and easiest to understand (once you get the hang of it.)

@JaundiceJaun I got the hang of it on DOOM to DOOM format. And it's ACTUALLY pretty easy to learn. If anything it's like Timesplitters Mapmaker... just more complex.

what did you use before you "finally finally gave doom builder a shit?" I used WadAuthor for like 15 years and then I started using this like 6 months ago...Im never using wad author again

Well I'm not necessarily "using" DB 2 now, and I'm not telling anyone who currently uses DB1 to switch to DB2, I just want those who have Windows Vista/7 to be able to learn from me as well, but as you may or may not know, Vista/7 users can't use DB1, so to reach a farther audience and teach even more people how to make maps, I've decided to make tutorials for DB2 :)
