Kevin Reimer and other racers use a new set every other heat or so because In-Heats don't grip enough after the mold release is gone. The urethane is notorious for doing that. It's what helps make it a good sliding wheel.

If you've never seen or heard of cracked Raynes you should look around. The quality control is so bad that some can crack on the first day. The bamboo even cracks on their drop decks when they press the veneers. Rayne says its no big deal since they're filled with glue

@Hoiz28 - Just because Brianne Davies and Kevin Reimer get paid to ride a deck doesn't mean it's high quality. They crack and delaminate faaaar to easily. But that doesn't matter when K-Rimes and Brianne can just get a new one for every race. And O-Tangs are a joke. They use Rollerskate cores from Labeda. The cores were never meant for a large DH wheel. And the urethane wears out so fast that their sponsored racers use a new set every, or every other heat. - You know DICK.
