Ulf Schirmer is actually a brilliant conductor ... I saw a few pieces conducted by himself at the opera Leipzig. He's really passionate about his work and that's what makes his concerts so beautiful. And he's very committed for modern classical composers and their music ... not usual for classical conductors ;)
