  • I like to detect in bad weather; people bother you much less and you can concentrate. I hate when a dad (may I ad dad acting like superdad) and his kid decide to buddy-up/watch me look for "burried treasure" only to ridicule me when I pull up many pull tabs. I do find cool stuff all the time but people and their children miss the point: 1) not everything in life is instantly rewarded, 2) I leave no trace other that to recycle trash that I pick up, and 3) I find the sport thrilling and relaxing.

  • Interesting place to hunt. We have a city park that once was a sanitoriam. The main bldg is gone but some bungalows are still there. In 1923 President Harding's wife went there for treatment. Sold my CZ7a. When I get my Etrac I'm going to see what I can find. Love old places like you show in your video. Too bad it was raining.
