I think I know what your talking about. I've been in it once and it was my girlfriend at the time who just dragged us in, It's not even got a noticable sign saying there's a shopping centre, it's just a corridor you're expected to adventure into and find shops.
Although I might be thinking of the wrong place because I don't know the name. It's on the left hand side of buchanan street when facing Argyle Street, right?
I've got it!! Your next video should be playing "Yeah Toast" on your toaster!!!
all around the country coast to coast,
people always say what do you like most,
I don't wanna brag i don't wanna boast,
I always tell 'em I like toast.
yeah TOAST yeah TOAST
There's a bit of the first part, I think you'd do it well. I'm watching it and thinking "Chris would do this great, Chris would be amazing. Oh God, I gotta tell Chris."
I apologise for freakin you out , but the girl who screamed wouldnt let us talk to you coz she was too embarassed :P sorry again , next time i'll say hi :)
lol prince's square is hard to get out of :L but how have you never noticed it before? it has a huge fraeky peacock on the front of it and everything!
There's a toilet in Wellington New Zealand that is built on a hill (the whole city is one damn hill!). The room slants downwards and at the top of the hill/room there's one of those heavy doors that shuts by itself. If your in a wheelchair you have to try and open the door, stop yourself from rolling back down the hill, keep the door open and get through before the bloody thing chops off your fingers, and this was an accessible toilet LOL
If you go to a shopping centre enough times, you get to know it like the back of your hand! They used to drive me crazy, but I go to college not far from one, and now I consider it my 3rd home!
Sounds about right for the average shopping centre. I loathe them. If you ever go to Peterborough, you will be amazed to see that the only way into the city from the station is THROUGH a shopping centre. You may think from this that there aren't many better reasons not to go to Peterborough, but in fact there are.
OMG is it princes square? or whatever that place is called.
Me and my ex boyfriend went on a date there and literally spent an hour and a half finding our way out cause the entrance is just one escalator going up.
I had this problem when I visited Glasgow! I found the tiny sign but when I arrived at the actual door it was locked and had some sign about not being an exit anymore. It made me wonder if ti was a door that opened to a wall like a cartoon or something.
They trap you in so you buy more. Eventually you'll have a small room completely furnished and loaded with stuff you don't need behind the food court. You'll have to marry in the shopping center... It's all a trap.
HA! If only there was some sort of new men's store going in next to it with a big "Coming Soon!" sign...
in terms of secret exits, I've been pretty fortunate just following my nose... or rather wandering around, probably in circles, having a mini-adventure until my nose points to the 'wee green man'. lol
Some of the wheelchair accesible things are so silly! The restaurant I worked at last had the wheelchair access at the back of the restaurant, and then the tiny hallway to get to the seats is barely big enough. It's stupid.
i can completely relate to this. haha! last semester, i had to turn in my final paper to one of my professors, and i had never been in the building where her office was. this building has the worst layout i have ever seen! it was a freaking labyrinth! i was already late turning the paper in, and then i had to go running thru this place desperatley trying to find this woman's office. uugh!
so your saying that not only was it a hidden shopping center, but it also hid all the exits and the key to the bathroom so that you can't even relieve yourself?
I should start selling shopping mall survival kits, with like, fold-out chairs and bobby pins to pick bathroom locks, i could make millions! lol.
That was orgasmic. The shopping centre right next to Waverley Station is the same; to get to the toilet, you have to travel in a direction not unsimilar to the shape of that symbol that Prince called himself for a while. Then you have to pay. Dicks.
I don't know if this is the same place, but in Glasgow I stumbled into a shopping centre about halfway between borders and all those bloody shoe shops across the road from St' Enochs. Point is, an escalator takes you past all these stretched faces that you have to look at at an angle to see them.
I couldnt find the exit for about the same amount of time as 40 minutes! I eventually just walked through a resturaunt and through the kitchen, exiting through the door by a carpark :P
ok, i <3 your vids... but this has got to be my favouriteso far, just 'cause it highlights the stupidity of people who design these places, shame for those who have to face that trouble though.
haha reminds me of that absolutely horrible Harrods in London that takes you about a month to navigate you're way around. I've only been there once - it was hell on earth =[ xxxx
