@Chahiro Actually you do. That is sort of the point of this pattern for making the cloths. It makes a nice 'border' around the edge of the cloth rather than just a plain square. :)

I just want to thank you for posting this video on making dish cloths... my gram just passed at 101yrs. and use to make these for x-mas for everyone. i learned how to knit for the first time watching your video... now i can suprise everyone at christmas by giving them these dish rags.
