  • rode this in October 2011. Enjoyed it a lot, but be warned the pre-show takes longer than the ride itself. And you get surprisngly wet, even on the backrow.

  • Why do the japanese always make better ride simulators than us! Why! It makes me feel like.... hmmm...... Oh i feel worthless now i forgot! HAHAHAHA XD

  • one of those lighting bulbs is the one that hit the tower of terror, true story.

  • Is this a simulation ride?

  • Ah fond memories! We got wetter on this than we did on Splash Mountain. We plan on going again soon!

  • So what kind of ride system is this? It looks like a combo between a giant movie theater and a motion simulator...

  • HAARP

  • @qwertytrewq33 STFU.

  • This should be in Epcot.

  • I thought it was a storm research probe or something along those lines but NOT a missile to blow it up.

  • This is what you get when you combine japan, soarin' and star tours together. Only japan would get an idea to blow up storms.

  • this is kinda like soarin'

  • I was just thinking the same thing:)

  • more like star tourss

  • lol this ride was fun

  • videoquality remembers me...

    ... like PlayStation 1 grafics

  • U CAN BLOW UP STORMS??

  • THATS SOOOO IMPOSIBLE IN REAL LIFE

  • ugh i wanted to go on this ride ..but it closed when i went there.. L(

  • Cool ride, somewhat crappy storyline.

  • ooo Ive been on this ride in DisneySea before.Nice n cool

  • ♥ IT! OMG. The seats were moving?

  • it's the whole theater moving!

  • Is very splendid. I was impressed very much. and I like this Ride most.

  • I LOVE THIS RIDE it has more coolio effects and it has a real situation that makes it more exiting!!

  • I love this ride!I love the song! Its so cool!

  • They have side windows with water 'filling up', and advanced simulated wind. I think the dome is not on the screen but actually a part of the actual set.

  • They should try putting this in EPCOT, right where Body Wars used to be.

  • like i mean the same system as soarin, i know its not the same ride, i mean w/ the hanging seats and the wind blowing in your face.

  • No, this is a more conventional motion simulator... like Star Tours except larger and more advanced.

  • what do you mean by advanced?

  • In theatre pyrotechnics, panels on the side of the screen get blown out, realistic wind and water effects that will make you squint, and then there's the missle that comes crashing into the cabin. Not to mention the sparking wires you see as you are exiting the theatre where the missle crashed through. Oh, did I mention that the film is in Hi-Def too? How's that for advance?

  • whoa, thats a lot

disney at its technologicallytypething stuff again

    and LOVING IT!

  • theyre making Star Tours 2!! theyre gunna use the same move as the missle part and all that jazz!

    its gunna be awesome!

  • That missile would go straight through a guest if they put it the tiny star tours cabin.

  • Is this ride soarin?

  • no. This is more intense than either Star Tours, Body Wars (EPCOT), or Soarin Over California. Heck this makes those three attractions look like kiddie rides.

  • like..how?

  • I agree. The effects and presentation were GREAT. But the actual ridefilm is kinda dull. Funny thing is, it was cloudy and sometimes it rained on my visit. So even though a "storm" was approaching, it rained before and after this ride :p

  • Yay! :)

I Just Love The 'Windows' And Domed Screen, Gives It A Lot Of Depth..

And The Fact That The Entire Theater Becomes Ruined..

Thanks For Uploading! hope your camera didn't get too wet, hah..
