@llanito77 I coudnt agree more with you.Fernando Vargas was a very talented fighter,boxer he just left it all in the ring.A lot people say he was just a bum or he never was great.....What about becoming the youngest jr middleweight in history or beating Yori boy Campas when he only had 14fights and became champ.I think he left his mark by beating fighters like Quartey,Marquez,Wright,Campas these guys were some of the hardest opponents out there at that time.

He gave all them a run for their money. He was even had Mosley in trouble in their first fight before it got stopped. He would completely dominate most of todays welterweights and junior middleweights. The only ones out their who could compete with him would be Martinez, Paquiao and Mayweather.

Great HL Video. They (His Managers & Handlers) threw him in with the best of the best when he was only 22 years old. He could've been a potential great but every manager should learn that 22 yrs. regardless of physicality or mentality is still too young. He would've been my favorite fighter if he never had the machismo and the entourage.
