If you owe $4000, $5000, $10,000. There are good programs that will allow you to pay them off in about 5 or 6 years at a lower interest rate. But if you really want to f** the system, give the finger to the credit companies. You can always declare bankruptcy.

Banks that get homes back have to pay property tax, pay employees to maintain that house because if they don't. A house that starts to fall apart starts to devaluate. Which means a bank that had invested 100,000 to have that home built now have to sell it for $35,000 and if it doesn't maintain it. The home will devaluate more and more, meaning more loss for the bank. I don't think you know how the system works other then that you hate it.

If you owe $4000, $5000, $10,000. There are good programs that will allow you to pay them off in about 5 or 6 years at a lower interest rate. But if you really want to f** the system, give the finger to the credit companies. You can always declare bankruptcy.
a little tougher because of new laws but if you can prove you cannot pay your debt. You can. Like my brother, he has declared bankruptcy 3 times in the past 20 years. The idiot. Has no shame... never learns.

Yes they would & many other things, thanks to banks investing on things. We have building, new technologies... I could go un but you get the idea.
The problem is that many people are not responsible.but I have too much invested in the banks. Sure I lost about 15% of my savings & stocks because of the losses. But you have to recognized that in this crisis we are in, it took 2 to tango.

Another economic alternative is socialism or even worse communism.
Both system destroyes motivation. It only lasts until the money runs out. Reason Europe is poor or why the Soviet Union collapsed.
The US have taken quite some falls but has always recovered & it will recover. The only thing that worries me is Obama. His ideals are socialism, regulation & government control. That will stifle the recovery.

I know people that have received loans who have been denied a mortgage from 4, 5, or 6 banks because of a credit; until finally one bank does approve them. What worse, these same people open a mortgage for 2, or 3 houses. Shit hit the fan and now these people loses everything. Banks have gone bankrupt because even if they get these home back, they lost money because they have to sell a devalued house. WE did this to ourselves.

No one decides when the economy recovers, it all depends if people are willing to spend so the money can move around. If not, then the crisis gets worse. More people loose their jobs.

Responsibility seems to be a bad word today. How is it our forefathers were able to survive hardships but today generation cannot, extending their hand to the all mighty nanny. They want everything their way or theyll going to call a lawyer to defend their rights. People seem to forget that along with rights comes responsibility. Unfortunately, thats the case today. For example, I had a root-channel and went to work despite the pain, bu a co-worker gets a headache & ask for sick-leave.

My sister bought a $400,000 home for only $75,000.
Banks that get homes back have to pay property tax, pay employees to maintain that house because if they don't. A house that starts to fall apart starts to devaluate. Which means a bank that had invested 100,000 to have that home built now have to sell it for $35,000 and if it doesn't maintain it. The home will devaluate more and more, meaning more loss for the bank. I don't think you know how the system works other then that you hate it.

They only blame the people that bought too much for what they can afford. That caused the bank to run out of money. Unless you don't know. The government is the only one that can print money. FDIC is the government branch (or government bank) that can issue money to the private banks. But Obama took control some of the banks in exchange for financial help.
Let's see what Obama does.

you are so wrong. The FDIC is an insurance company. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. They are the ones that pay out the money to depositors when the bank goes broke. Federal Reserve Bank prints the money, that's why its called a Federal Reserve Note. Take a dollar out and look at it.

Oh the people I know that are in debt declared chptr 11 & are out of debt. So they got more credit cards & slowly getting into debt again. Some people never learn but they do blame their problems to everyone else.

From what I can find, the U.S. Government is actually a corporation. It is also our government. Common sense would dictate, in nearly all cases, that our government does exactly the opposite of what we would want them to do.
That's because they don't work for us. They represent the Corporation.
And,if you "own" real estate, and have the warranty deed, you still don't really own it. The Corporation does. Unless you have the Land Patent, it ain't yours! You're just a tenant!

It says;
(15) "United States" means—
(A) a Federal corporation;
(B) an agency, department, commission, board, or other entity of the United States; or
(C) an instrumentality of the United States.
Don't take my word for it though. Look for yourself.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting
The Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation
NOT "The Corporation of the United States of America."
Those points define the "United States" as a pronoun of sorts in legal/business forms. Like in legal forms when it says "United States vs John Smith" it might actually be a federal prosecutor in a state - on behalf of the USA.
