I know women who had children with absolutely no plans to stay with the father. they wanted a kid, and that is it. not only did they have to go on public support, which is outrageous enough, but they never seemed to care what that was doing to their children. obviously, not all single mothers are like this, but there are far too many. maybe if the free money stopped, these people would stop doing this.

Parenting is all about being financially ready. Single mothers in the poverty line should be accountable from getting themselves pregnant by a complete dumbass. Most of these single mothers never wanted children in the first place.
Which is why we need to encourage women to procreate with men they choose to be their husbands and not some player that gets all the chicks in this perverse society.
