I would have kept the speakers hooked to the iMac. The Internal Speakers that everyone is bragging about, are not great. For listening to Music, you'll want external Speakers. I had 2 iMacs so far, the 1st had Flicker & Yellow & 2nd had just Yellow tinge. So I'm guessing you had no problems. What Week Was yours. I had a Week 45 & a Week 51. Week Number = 4th & 5th Digit of S/N. Thanks!

Dude I just got the exact same computer, but have a question. Do you need to Install the MAC OS disk that comes with it? Or is it pre-installed?? cuz it doesnt come with an Hard Drive icon on it so I dont know what to do.

i went down to Apple store yesterday and played with this iMac (27" Quad core) and i spoke to the imac specialist, and he said that the flickering/dead pixel problem has been mostly eliminated by some minor adjustments on the production line.

I built my own computers in the past and liked having total control of what I have in my PC.. but now I don't really care. I guess I got out of that phase. I bought a 27'' iMac a couple of weeks ago and I love this thing.
