i trashpicked a 20" 3hp version of that friday. needs a new engine basically but then i bought a 1983 caldor mower yesterday for a real good price. i bought it from the guy who bought it new. he said he bought it new used it a dozen times didnt like using a pushmower so it has sat in a shed for over 20 years and is basically a brand new 1983 caldor mower. there is evidence to me this engine has very low hours.
thats really nice to see you mow that grass because it reminds me of good ol' spring and summer. haha Iowa has really cold winters and feet of snow, its nice to see that.
A friend of mine in N.J. cut 2 toes off with that baby back in 1969. He was due to leave for Vietnam, but without toes he was discharged. He told me years later that he had a feeling that if he went to Nam he would've died. That Caldor mower saved his life. LOL.
B&S first produced the MAX series in August 1984. Production of these ended in the early '90s when B&S put more emphasis towards their 12-cubic-inch Quantum line.
I noticed that the model said 92502 ? or did it just look that way through the camera. 92502 is 3 HP and 92902 is 3.5 HP
