Why the Bruce Faulconer team is better than Kenji Yamamoto

1.Yamamoto only plagiarized like 6 out of 60,000 songs, and about 4 out of those 6 songs were from a long time ago. The other 2 weren't even plagiarized, they were rearranged, so he deserves a second chance. 2. Falconer only gives people an exciting feeling about 70% of the time, Kikutchi gives you an exciting feeling 10% of the time, and Yamamoto gives you an exciting feeling 100% of the time.

Face it: Yamamoto>Falconer>Kikutchi.

@TheWhiz93 LOL. AMVs tend to be purely rock songs that have lyrics in them. You could argue Movies 4,5,8,9 and 10 are glorified AMVs, however all the Faulconer Production score lack lyrics and most of them aren't purely rock.

@UltimateGOKUX And not all of it is rock, if you think it is you haven't listened to it or you need to get your ears checked. Listen to Cells Slow Theme or Mysterious person. The Cell one fits Cell perfectly and the Mysterious Person one is just amazing. I could give you a list but I can't be bothered. As for transition, that wasn't FP choice... it was FUNi. You can actually download patches for Kai with FP music which have silence and better placement, it sounds much better.

I will agree that Yamamoto is a thief. I wouldn't be surprised if every track he composed in his life was stolen. Ive seen countless stolen songs on games etc. But Bruce Faulconer, god no. FUNimation was young and they made mistakes. Bruce was one of them, they hate him, his music is trash imo, and you would never see FUNimation change music for newer animes. How can anybody think his music is any good is beyond me. The songs don't have a ending, they just cut off and transition to another song.

People who hate it are just a very vocal minority of organised fans. Type up DragonBall music, a ton of SSJ3 Goku Transformation and Hells Bells themes. How is rock not suitable for DragonBall ESPECIALLY Z!? You have bulky looking aliens beating the shit out of each other and blowing up planets, rock fits perfectly.

The only reason it gets so much hate is because it wasn't in the original, so people nitpick at it more than the other scores (which also have many flaws). May I ask, when did you even get into DragonBall?

Dragon Ball isn't cheesy Saturday morning cartoon with synthesized music, corny and dumbed down dialogue that's supposedly appealing to kids. The other reason besides it not fitting the show is that it's so apparent that they put in this malarkey to try to appeal to kids and not give the show justice.

Hells Bells fit Vegeta and his cocky stubborn attitude well. Bruce Faulconer is the best IMO. And i'm Canadian to.

For me personally, Kikuchi's score was better for casual scenes like the happy moments or sad moments. But Kikuchi's score wasn't that great for epic battles or transformations, it just didn't seem right.

Faulconer was definatly better in terms of making music for epic battles/transformations. Remember when Goku went SS3? His score was perfect for that scene. But unlike Kikuchi, his score was pretty bad for casual scenes.

I also agree with you about the SSJ3 score being perfect for the scene (and a great piece of music on its own) - also not due to Falconer's business skills, but the composition abilities of Dobos.

I prefer Yamamoto over FP but both are really good scores. Yamamoto had a lot of good tracks and the insert songs (save Saiyan Blood and News of the Cell Games) were not made by him. Yes some of Yamamoto's tracks but more of them were his own work. FP's assistant composers did most of the work and I believe the assistant composers had more talent than Faulconer. FP's score had very good tracks too. However both scores, to me, fit the show very well.

Nice video. First off in Kai only a few tracks were taken from movies. Other than Kai yes he did rip off alot of stuff but there was more he did do than steal. Both scores are great and give the show unique vibes. None of the scores are perfect despite what is said. FP music was best around the Buu saga I thought, Julius joining the team might be the reason who knows. Either way I prefer FP score, but you can't deny that Yamamoto had some great tracks like Destiny etc.
