  • nice one

  • It's a nice bike, but it sounds like a shitty song...

  • Wanna be Harley? Betcha that Honda starts and runs smoother for longer than any Harley you've got. I ride a CB 750 that I'm gonna stretch and bobber out, nice idea about having the tank stretched a bit, I don't like that gap on mine either. Sweet ride dude, especially for having done it at home.

  • 12 stones- nice!!!

  • 9 people don't know how to ride a bike !!

  • Comment removed

  • @rwhdragonmaster I don't think he want it to be a harley you fukin douch if everybody rode harleys then nobody would want them thats exactly why I ride hondas

  • But in the end.....

    It's still a Honda..

    LOL

  • great song choice man!! 12 stone-broken my fave. sic ass bike too bro!!

  • Hey were did you find those bars they are fucking sweet?

  • fucking sick

  • love the way the bike looks.. do you think being 6'2 is too tall for a vlx 600?

  • I remember this bike, first video that popped my cherry about bobbers, after that loved that style of bikes.

  • What year is this bike? I like it!!! I've been contemplating building a bobber. I like the honda shadows but some of them have the dual shocks. I see that this one has the mono shock.... So... Which year is this?

  • another one who thinks his music is cool........ lets hear the motor!

  • 1. Nice work. I'm currently modifying my honda vlx into a bobber. Flat black right now. drag bars right now. adding 6in risers. frame already cut. Did you use reagular bondo to fill cuts?

    2. Whats the name of this song?

  • thats pretty kick ass

  • hey is there any chance you want to sell that bob now? Get at me about it... thanks man.

  • Very cool

  • Lovee the bike and the track. Whois it and whats the name of the song

  • Nice bike, rubbish camera work, rubbish music. Stop wasting bandwitdth.

  • Very nice bike! What paint did u used for the tires? I am searching on the net, but there are so many stories about the paint..

  • what song is??

  • Make a few more ids of her in action, I need some inspiration!

  • Nicest bobber I've ever seen...

  • FUCKING BEAST OF A MOTORCYCLE!

BEST IVE SEEN ON YOUTUBE, NO BS

  • Where did you buy your seat from?? I want to eventually chop my Honda Shadow.

  • NICE.

  • Who stretched your tank for you? Looks amazing!

  • simply gorgeous!!!!!!!! can i have it?

  • Real nice work- one of best i have seen!!!!!

  • that i s one bad ass bobber man, nice job...

  • awwh i love it :) good choice of song too:) haha

  • sweet bobber, clean, love the color, usually see black ones, a nice change. question..did yours have a fuse box between the handle bars stock? i have a 86' that does and wanted to put drag bars on it but didnt know what i would run into relocating it or if you could set it between a set of aftermarket bars.

  • Saw the vid of this bike running. That completed how badass that thing is. Good job bro! How the fuck did you get it to sound like that? What is that air intake?

  • thats a fucking sweet bike man! where did you get the frame?

  • @RockaChrillie Thanks bro...It's all stock. I cut off the rear of the frame and every other piece I didn't want. Then used filler to smooth it out.

  • @Hotrodhayabusa that's nice bro! Got a before/after pic? id love to do something like this when im getting a bike.

  • did you customize your tank or did it come like that? im talking about how its indented so that the seat cuts into it at the bottom. let me know will you. by the way your bike rocks man looking at it makes me want to do mine similar to it.

  • @0311Porsha Thanks for the comment ..... A while before I decided to build this I had the tank stretched to fit snug up against the stock seat. When I bought the bike I didn't like the big gap between the seat and tank. I'd rather not have it stretched with this seat but I was building a low dollar bike and the tank isn't cheap.

  • very clean and very nice

  • I hate the way those engines look, i think its the trans cover that throws it off. Nice job with the cooler on the front.

  • @VVoodstockRider This is my first one. I believe it too about six months working about 20-30 minutes a day. Sometimes longer or shorter.

  • That's awesome. I can't believe it's a Honda! How much did this cost? Awesome job man.

  • @rickdafrog I already had the bike. But the work was two tires, handle bars, seat kit and paint supplies. I guess around $1500-2000 tops.

  • wwwoooowww... sw8t ride dude!!!! sick sick ride!!!

  • Excellent work on your bobber! Yours looks fantastic. I'm thinking about bobbing a Honda of some sort, maybe a rebel as my first project!

  • @djhotdogboy Keep me posted, I'd like to check it out.

  • hey man love ur bike.. i am working on my vlx 600 right now and wanna make it look like urs.just one question where did you put the gas pump and the rest of the wiring... thank you very much

  • any chance you posting a vid of your weapon rolling? that would be mean!

  • @fidy8dub I need to...I may do that this weekend. Thanks man.

  • @Hotrodhayabusa That would be sick, plus mainly due to the inspiration of your ill ride and much to my wifes disgust i've just brought a vlx....shot bro!

  • tooo sweet

  • man thats pretty sweet! what kinda frame is that and what size rear tire? looks awesome!! the paint with the chrome and white walls is perfect!!

  • @jkstdstang Thanks man...Everything is stock. I wanted to make the cheapest bobber I could. The frame was cut and smoothed, check my slide show video.

    Thanks for the comment

  • does the butterfly's actually work on the hypercharger? i heard the 600 doesn't have enough vacuum to open and close them.

  • I have a video of it running check it out. It does have enough vacuum, but I really don't care for it any more. I think it hurts more than helps.

  • that's what i thought...thanks.

  • what tires u runnin'?

  • @nealnbobn If I remember they are Avon.

  • I love the color. Awesome.

  • Autozone....Duplicolor.

  • Very nice bike man! I love the spoke rims and tires!

It gave me a lil inspiration for my 82 honda 450 im gonna bob.

  • @WESHOUTGOODNIGHT Keep me posted on the progress

  • I sure will. I actually caught a little buzzzz and cut them into some shorties.

  • Nice I'm a female with a Honda spirit shadow 750 2001 and want to put a bobber seat on can u tell me how please

  • please make a site or post videos how to build it!!!!!its awesome!5 stars from Greece

  • @mondator Thanks man....I'll be building another project bike to sell. Not sure what yet. I'd like to roll out a bagger.

  • Hey thanks man....yea my first solo build. Took about 9 months cause I get destracted easy. I actually have it on the lift again doing a little detail work to it. I cut and wrapped the pipes, adding floorboards and shorting some of the cables that I measured wrong.

    Check back I'll repost....

  • nice music

  • who knows

  • super clean. Very nice,

  • what size and brand tire is that on rear is it a stock vlx rim thank you for building a awesome shadow and sharing

  • Hey thanks man...The tire is Avon 170/80B15. They are they factory rims.

  • Nice, bike very neat

  • fkin awesome bike , hw much for da hypercharger?>

  • Beautiful!!!

    Great job.

  • Nice Bobber

  • This is why i hate YouTube. Looking at what someone else has and then knowing what i got. Sigh....

VERY sweet bike man, proper jealous to say the least!

  • I ordered them from a local bike shop...but you can order online. The bars are 12" Roland Sands.

  • Thats a shadow right?

  • Yep...VLX 600

  • Song?

  • 12 stones-broken

  • thnx for songname!!!!!!!!!!!!!!greetings from germany

  • Killer scoot! Go to Delphi forums and search for VLX Riders. Best VLX forum on the web.

  • song-titel plz

  • just wondering how you removed the rear

    fender? How much?

  • I used a pneumatic cutt off wheel. I have some pictures but I'm looking around to see how I make a flash video.

  • how did you know where to cut?

  • Got a photobucket account? It's free. I'd love to see pics of the entire transformation. I'm getting ready to do my 92 VLX. Ordering my Keystone bars next week. :-)

  • I can't even notice...I passed through a shower the other day, of course it sucked but that's to be expected. My next project I will have a few inches of fender.

  • really sweet bike. how do you like not having a back fender? i'm working on my first project and have been thinking alot about what to do for the back fender.

  • very cool bike

  • nice one!!!!!

what is the name of the song, band?

  • Since I wanted to mold all the welds I did strip it to the metal so the filler would stick. That was the most time consuming part of the build. (Smoothing the frame)

  • Did you strip your frame down to metal for your painting or just sand it down? I'm still learning sorry for the noob question.

  • Never buy a backpack with long straps.

  • Love those bars, i see the brand but where did you buy them from or from wat website KILLER BIKE

  • Very nice!

  • Wicked Bobber dude! Love it!

  • I know the video sucks ass. I'll be posting a better one after the wife give up the dough. But yes, there is a load of wires and what not. I hide em the best I could. Yes, it a hard tail.

  • Where did you hide the fuel filter and pump which was under the seat? My 95 has boat load of stuff wedged in there.Fuse box ect. I think i see the shock , but did you hardtail it? I can't see well.

  • Very NICE!!!!!!!!!!! Can we hear it run???

  • Sure will....

  • can you expand on how you lowered it,did you shorten the spring?look forward to more video up close at the battery and suspension. WICKED HOT MAN. I was going to bob a maxim 400 but now the vlx is Sweet.

  • I think if you put a rear fender that was painted the same blue, but only went passed the back of your seat to the top (12 o'clock - exact middle of your tire.(no farther), then it would be SICK! ,,,and keep the front end without one.

  • what do i have to do after removing the airbox

  • I removed it a ling time ago I don't remember. But, I do know that it runs the best stock. That hypercharger isn't working too good for me.

  • luv the bike!where did u buy the back white wall tire?thks

  • Thanks man!....I ordered them from a local shop. The front and back are both Avon. Pretty much the only one's that I found that fit.

  • nice bike

    check mine out

  • Hell yea nice one....I like the flat black. That was my first idea.

  • Factory controls with a little sanding and polishing.

Keep me posted on your project..I want to check it out.

    Blue

  • I'm decking out a CB750 rigid bobber and in the market for some nice controls. I am a proud owner of the same bars but in black and need some nice chrome controls, are yours your factory controls or after market? Thanks for the time and very nice bike brother!!!

    ToD

  • Dupli-Color Deep Blue...straight from Autozone.

  • well....that paint is a killer shade or ? blue? purple? whatever. it's killer. where'd it come from?

  • looks mad nice. real clean i like the blue and chrome, and the whitewalls. good color scheme - blue and white.

  • Sure you can.....I changed it cause I wanted to go as low as I could.

  • Hey mam,

I'm really new to this. Can a guy get this bobber look, without swaping out the rear end to a hard tail.

Why do guys make the change anyway?

  • How tall are your apes and where did you get em? They come chrome?

  • Roland Sands......don't remember off hand how tall they are. But yes chrome and black and raw available. Really nice bars..I like them

  • how did you low the rear end?

  • I love how cleaned up it looks under the seat. Where is everything? I read that you said its all there, but it looks like the shock and battery is only there. Any tips on how to hide the wires.

  • The harness comes down under the front of the seat through the original hole. I turned them down and strapped them together and put what I could under the battery plate I made. The video really sucks so I will see about making a better one this weekend. Again, it's all there...I didn't feel like rewiring the whole bike.

  • PONELA A SONAR PENDEJO

  • p.s. where did you get those white walls and the seat , i love it!

  • The white walls are Avon..and the seat pan was bought from Chopper Shox out of Vegas. It came raw metal so I covered it myself. Pretty easy setup.

    Thanks a bunch!

  • where did you hide the wiring under the seat?

  • Man anywhere I could. Trust me it's there, I just cleaned it up as much as possible. As you probably already know...metrics have an ass load of wires.

  • I know im asking tons of questions, but how did you make it sit so low without modifying the frame?

  • was welding the rear cross member for the seat the only thing you did to the frame?

  • Frame yes....

  • Coo, right now im looking into a 2003 Honda 600 vlx all chrome for 4600, if I can get it down to 3 grand, ill be on my way hopefully riding something this summer.

  • Wow, you got me so motivated to take the leap and build a bobber, I've have yet to see one as clean as yours. Awesome bike, thanks for the replay.

  • Thanks efarias04, well its a 2002 VLX 600 Deluxe...I cut the rear section and welded the cross bar for my seat pan then smoothed all the welds on the frame.

Money wise all I purchased was....Chopper Shox seat pan $ 150, white wall tires $ 300, Roland Sands Apes $400, and cables. Of course a few other odds and ends.

  • Nice bobber, could you tell me what it cost to look like that? What did you add/remove from orginonal bike.

  • My friend I learned that all it takes is time and a little commen sense. You can do it,

    Hammer down!
