i really like all your songs but this appeals to me the most, ive generally gone away from more hardcore metal, but i really like this its cool and groovy. keep it up guys!:)
Except the solo you can't really hear a bass out of the song. But it doesn't care if the pressure comes out of the guitars or the bass or out of my ass, you just can't hear it!
Okay correct. Well I forgot an important thing, the bass should support the bands sound in gernres like Metal, Hard Rock and all that stuff. I listen to all kinds of music (as long there is a bass playing), but I play Jazz and Funk. In these genres the bass is quite present. I'm just used to other music, but I really dig this band. Maybe I should also start playing some things like Metallica or Pantera? They make good music, too and the bass parts sound quite good.
Hehe, I think there are ways of playing nice bass parts in every genre. But you are right, some genres do have more of a "lead bass" style (term taken from dream theater)... Metal USUALLY not being one thereof. Well uuhm... now everything is sorted out I guess ^^
You both are somewhat right. The snare and bass drum had a really shitty micing sound, so we had to "brighten" them up a little bit. I think, on snare and bass drum there are about 80% original and 20% trigger sound each.
Everything else is not triggered. And no editing, either.
there's something about the sound that makes this all boring:/

Mostly standard E tuning. All the videos are in E. Some of the newer songs are written in Drop D though.

Fucking hell! The first time I actually LIKE a band entitling themselves death metal. Very cool stuff, especially since it's played live.
@WeisseSocke: Joking? Do you think all the pressure comes from the guitars? Better go back to the board and read some more threads on amp settings ^^

Number one rule of good bass sound: You don't hear it before somebody takes it away ^^

no its triggered. easy to make more mistakes on a triggered kit. I was not downplaying his skill just making a statement.
