@perryschutte Typhoon kit for sure~ You get more resination though the alloy tube as opposed to the plastic pipework that comes with the 57i kit.

NOISE doesn't equal power, K&N reduces power and allows so much dirt through that it damages the engine. It doesn't filter to the required standards. Your paper filter has a much bigger surface area and in the box passes more air than the engine could ever use. You are a clueless victim of K&Ns marketing con.

@urbex2007 I keep finding your name popping up everywhere but only on CAI pages.. go learn about cars first. :) and let them do what they want. intakes do more then just "add power" and oh about your dirt theory. you do know your pcv system actually make your engine suck oil back into the engine right? So your already sucking CRAP back into the engine just FYI. Also, of course there is no huge power gain. if your smart you'd know to tell people to get headers. someone doesn't know cars :P

i just got this for my civic plus the skunk 2 megapower exhsaust system and they both work great together. and the tard that said it was a bad place to put the filter is a dumbass.

@geofflor ever heard of heat soak? its better for an engine to have cold air then hot, cold air is more dense so burns better, hence making it faster, dumbass!!

So putting an air filter inside an engine bay to drink the hot air isnt such a good idea, cold air induction is better, itg make a good one!

K & N acctually have given up to 30 hp before. But thats not all the time. Pretty rare. And id rather have the filter up there than right next to my wheel where if my wheel blows. There goes the filter, and possibly the tubbing. IMO
