I got a challenge for you. Make a STVoyager video. 3 stipulations.
1) Music is 'Requiem for a Dream' the full 6min 34 sec version
2) Based around Seven of Nine
3) Footage must include time spent as a Borg Drone while still a part of the Hive Mind (cannot include any from Scorpion pt2 where she's had some implants removed)
Want to see if you can do it using this somewhat dark and twisted movie melody.
I think if I ever have any daughters, the tv character I will encourage them to idolize is JAneway, I always thought she was almost the perfect woman, cause she's such a woman, but still so commanding and capable, she's like exactly what they had in mind when they came up with feminism!! Go Janeway!
I completely agree. Janeway exudes confidence and gracefulness in everything she does. I believe she is the epitome of what a "Lady" should be. She is able to take charge and kick some butt. However she also has the respect of men and women, which is one thing some women in charge do not have. She does all this while also remaining compassionate, feminine, and sexy. She just has it all. I also can't think of another actress that could have portrayed her as perfectly as Kate Mulgrew.
I've had a crush on Kate Mulgrew since I was a kid watching Columbo! Then she was in Remo Williams HOT! She's so beautiful, I'm jealous of her husband.
I agree...and I have always thought she was much more attractive than 7. Her sexiness goes beyond good looks, it is her personality also. You can see this in how she portrays the characters she plays and in her interviews. She is quite an intoxicating woman.
However, I'm not quite certain what to call that particular type of sexiness. I look at her and think "well, she's not that beautiful...really..." and then I can't help but stare. It's almost a Freudian sort of sexiness! ;P
About her interviews, yes, yes, yes. She has a sense of confidence about herself, in every character she plays and in person. But it never comes off fake, like I've seen in so many other women. ^^ God I love Kate Mulgrew.
I agree totally....She is attractive but not in an obvious way. I think you have to appreciate her as a person and actress to see her true beauty.When the show first started I was not that impressed by her...however, as the show went on I liked her more because she is such a great actress. After seeing her interviews and other work on YouTube...I just can't get enough. And I agree she doesn't come off fake at all, and there is a consistency to all of her interviews.

I thought she was alright when the show started, but that quickly changed...from her voice to her manner of walking to her personality, I was caught. ^^
The Janeway clip at 1:20 was from one of the very last episodes. She was being held captive in a brig of sorts by aliens and she was trying to befriend one of her captors by giving him advice on how to fix something. Sorry I don't know the name of the episode, I just know it was very near the end of the series.
