It's funny, I was watching the original gundam from the late 70's until Youtube removed them because of rights claims by Bandai. Strange because it was listed under Featured Videos and they're were on a Movie format (over 10 minutes long). I hate when videos are remove do to rights.

i dont see how 00 is a disgrace to the gundam name. this is the 2nd time im watching this series and i love it. the battle scenes are super sexy and the story gets real good especially once season 2 kicks off.

I agree to a limited extent... I just happen to think that making every character spell out their motives for you is a cheap way out of showing them to the audience through their actions... And I felt like the second seasond consisted only of confusing battles in space, which forced the plot to develop only during action sequences. Besides, The second season focused on too many characters. The show ought to have a group of protagonists, antagonists and only some side characters.

ha, Gundam 00 doesn't look old because it isn't; Mobile Suit Gundam was the first series in the entire Gundam metaseries, and that's the one that's thirty years old! :) Mobile Suit Gundam came out in 1979 and was so popular that I guess they just kept on making more and more of them. Each series has a very different tone, I think. That's what keeps it fresh.
