You seem to strain a lot when you sing, especially in the chorus. Make sure when you use that rasp never feel it in the throat, feel It is the soft palate always. You said yourself it hurt haha so be careful with that. Once u learn to relax when u sing it will be great! Best of luck

No too bad, although I can tell this isn't the type of music your vocals are attuned for. You should probably sing less metal and more alternative. Perhaps Benjamin or Puddle, maybe even Seether. Also, if you're going to cover something, you should use instrumentals instead of the actual songs, because actual songs make it sound like some random "sing along". Anyway, my cover sucked too don't worry, I never made a habit of putting much effort into my covers until recently.
