Lol Dan, you know how you said to place the torches logically? Well, my younger brother does the exact opposite. He's afraid monsters will spawn and destroy his house if there's even one speck of darkness, so every wall is covered in torches. XD I told him to destroy them, and he wouldn't, and he was getting ready to do the same to his basement, and I just took over the mouse and started placing torches.

Stairs would be much easier to place if you flaced wodden planks below them first, I would actually do that in survival anyways to make my cieling more protective :)

You can always target the block near the space where you want to place a glass pane instead of targeting the super-thin one beside it ;)

Ex: target the dark wood instead of the pane beneath.

Dan after seeing your nether brick house in last episode i kinda did the same thing you showed us here. the difference was I used stone brick stairs for the bottom trim, wood plank walls, cobblestone stairs for the roof and i used the wood fences also :3 Its amazing how lil changes like that make the housed look so different. your awesome Dan

You can change the gamemode type using SinglePlayer Commands. Just bring up the text bar and type: /gamemode 0 for Survival and /gamemode 1 for creative. If you don't want to use a mod, then you would have to do what Dan suggested.

@amitchameides Legally, there is no way to to it, but there might be a mod that would allow to you to toggle the modes. The best way to get unlimited items is to install the "Too Many Items" mod to your actual game of Minecraft, which would allow you to access unlimited amounts of every item in survival mode.

@amitchameides yeah there is. Take your save, send it in a smp version by creating your own server with that save as the WORLD folder of this new server. Go in, OP yourself, change your game mode to with /gamemode *username 1 and exit the game, transfer the game back to your single player save. There you go.
