  • Judging form W o F, American high schools are no longer giving kids a vocabulary list on Monday and the quiz on Friday.

  • What season did they have Megaword?

  • @Ringo84 Season 12. 1994-95.

  • never heard of it

  • i wonder why every fail i find on this show is made by black people

  • whats with the couple in the middle?

  • Nothing is copacetic in this video! :P

  • Actually, I have NEVER heard this word used in anything but the following:

    "Everything is copacetic"

It doesn't prove that you know what it means, but it kind of does since it is a time-honored expression.

  • "And yes, it's Megaword. Just our way of saying Happy Holidays..."

LOL. Even Pat knew Megaword was a failure.

  • Is that the least amount of money you can possibly win?

  • And you just don't get it Keep it COPACETIC And you learn to accept it You know You're so pathetic =]

  • ok let me get this straight? you just need to use it in a sentence right for the $500? I can think of several that makes the word irrelevant such as "Hey Path. how do you spell copacetic." or "Could any of you have guessed the megaword would be copacetic? I mean come on folks. you don't have to KNOW what the word is to use it in a sentence. How about "What is the definition of copacetic?" jeese this is not rocket science after all.

  • @nerys71 You have to use the "Megaword" in a sentence that displays that you KNOW the meaning of the word. A lot of times contestants would try to do what you just suggested and the judges would not accept it. They would not accept "it's copacetic", because that didn't show that you knew what it meant. But if you said "it's groovy and copacetic", they would accept. needless to say, this is why the category was retired - it made contestants look stupid, when WOF want them to look SMART. :-)

  • @BrentWolgamott ahhh I did not know that :-) (that you had to show you know what it means)

  • Wow, we have enough problems with English, besides using words in the Ten-Pound dictionary.

  • i am on wheel of fortune and asked to use the word copacetic in a sentance. BAM 700 bucks

  • This was probably was the worst, most boring round on WOF !

  • what the hell's a copacetic?

  • This popped up in my head while watching this. What if they had run out of money to buy vowels with, and obviously did not know the puzzle. And none of the others had no clue what the puzzle was. Obviously this particular situation would rarely happen. If noone had any money to buy vowels with, and noone knew the puzzle. I wonder if they would just throw the puzzle out and do a new one.

  • @Bluetailvappy that'd be Ace.. lol Thumbs up for you :)

  • FAIL... ROTFL!

  • Wikipedia tells that the old puzzle board had 48 trilons and the new one has 52 but why there are 52 of them in this video?

  • You counted all of the trilons, but four of them weren't used for letters (the ones in each corner, which are partially cut off), so what it should say is "there were 48 trilons that could be used for letters; the new boards has 52 usable trilons."

  • 48 is still an accurate number, since the ones in the corners weren't actually trilons. They were just blank covers with the green glitter effect.

  • I hate this category with a passion, and I am so happy it was quickly retired.

  • The final scores going into the break look like that of Goen Wheel.

  • 1:46 Y? No Y? WHY?!

  • fail at life

  • If it was that bad back in 1994, imagine how bad it would be today. That's a VERY scary thought!

  • why do Americans clap for themselves?

  • it is so stupid they are not using vowels in the begining

  • 3:05 - fail

3:14 - most disinterested and annoyed face ever

  • @thadea 3:14... rasicm.. lmao

  • Megaword is Megafail, not copacetic!

  • Local H - Bound for the Floor... They repeat the word "copacetic" about 35 times in that song. I would have kicked this puzzles ass!

  • copacetic = very satisfactory or highest regard.

  • copacetic means peaceful and nice

  • I've never heard that before. Unfortunately.

  • 3:36 EPIC WIN.

  • why didn't he ask the woman? she knew what the word was...curse you Pat Sajak!!

  • if you listen, he asks both, but the sister lets her brother answer it!

  • Copacetic, that's a pretty nice word you don't see as much anymore it really should be a part of more everyday speech. Maybe then things might be a little more... copacetic between people, eh?

    Yeah that'll never happen...

  • ahaha..

  • I know it only lasted one season, but it's moments like this that make me wonder how Megaword even lasted that long.

Heck, I've never even HEARD of that word until now!

  • only pat sajak can make the simplist lines sound pretty funny. you can tell by now that he HATES this catagory

  • "Just our way of saying Happy Holidays." I like that line.

  • I can't BELIEVE they had Megaword after the first puzzle. The first puzzle was a bigger stumper if you ask me. Can you upload that? :)

  • I didn't even figure that one out when I watched this episode today.
