  • i love Costa Rica ^^

  • MAD MAN.

  • Why is HE called the snake hunter when Steve Irwin held the world's most deadliest snake and didn't care at all! It's because Steve Irwin knows how to get into the snake's mind, to understand it, to get it to understand him.

  • @sherry3732 dude this this guy has held more snakes than steve irwin. plus for your information not only has he picked up the largest python in the world but also a king cobra and lived to tell the tale. did i mention the king cobra is the largest venemous snake in the world. plus steve irwin is more of a crocodile guy and lets be honest steve irwin is like number 2 compared to austin stevens, but of course steve irwin will always be remembered for his respect for wildlife

  • @DrWhoFreak100 What has Stevens done for wildlife conservation? Irwin is second to nobody!

  • @operazek ...apart from austin stevens. austin stevens has a different job to steve irwin.

  • @DrWhoFreak100 If you knew anything about handling venomous snakes you would have realized that Stevens does some pretty stupid and life threatening things when he handles snakes. Just ask yourself "How many time has he got bit?"

  • @operazek "how many times has he got bit?" hmmm twice, but there was this one time where a snake lashed out and cut his finger but no venom went into austins blood. thats more of just a simple cut than a bite. but steve irwin has also done pretty stupid things, but he always has a team to help him. he is number two compared to stevens because austin does it all by himself. plus he does it because its his job

  • @DrWhoFreak100 Of course Irwin has done stupid things but as you said it's not his job to handle snakes. When your job is to handle snakes it's expected of you not make stupid mistakes and take unnecessary risks. Do you really think that Austin is doing this all by himself?!

  • @operazek look everyone makes mistakes that are stupis, including steve irwin. its a risk to go out searching for venemous snakes, but its not unnecessary if its your job. not on his own? well i mean yeah hes got a film crew, but he doesnt have a team with him to deal with the animal, steve does

  • @DrWhoFreak100 Its TV the animals are planted... Do you really believe everything that Austin Stevens says in his show? The closest to the real thing was probably Mark O'Shea's show where he actually looks for the animals while he's filming (of coarse not every time) It's clear to me that you are a very naive person and you believe everything they tell you so I won't argue with you anymore

  • @operazek no of course not, but if hes in trouble the crew dont even bother to help him. and no i dont believe everything everybody tells me.

  • @operazek exactly, Mark's the man, there you could see an actual work be done. Also it's not only planted it's cooled down (abused) as well, very typical of AS's videos (ASs haha :DD fitting) anyone who handled a few hundred snakes knows that retic or that anaconda should've hurt the bastard pretty badly otherwise...he wasnt even holding the conda by the neck, all of them bites back if they're not very tame...or cooled.(at the end it barely moves)..also type Scary Short Common Lancehead

  • @operazek what about all the venom that came out then?

  • 1 of the deadliest snakes in the world.

  • @greatwhite1222 thank you.

  • We should put Les Stroud, Austin Stevens, the (sadly) late Steve Irwin, Bear Grylls, and McGyver in the middle of god knows where together and film them.

  • is he the guy that replaced the crocodile hunter?

  • @jerricaher he didnt replace him....steve irwin was a hepatologist...this guy is a wildlife photographer and herpitologist and he goes to places to photograph snakes...different things

  • @jerricaher ok 1st of all, nobody can replace the work of steve irwin. 2nd austin stevens and steve irwin have totally different jobs. i mean come on everyone must admit that both austin stevens and steve irwin "danced with death" but austin stevens is just an amazing photographer and knows exactly how to deal with snakes better than steve irwin.

  • That is an huge snake!!

  • i think this snake has never seen a human thats why she dind try to atack him in the beggining

  • this dude is fucken out of his mind

  • This guy is gonna die.... its just a matter of time. He's awesome!! And he knows his shit. But hes sticking his hand in the oven...

  • @420Rokn i think he gonna die too :X

  • that snake has some very big fangs

  • la mejor de las bothrops

  • Why not turn the audio all the way down so its even harder to hear it?

  • amazing snake. felt sorry for the poor girl though being slung around though.

  • If I were in his position It would be like a cartoon you would see my shadow but Inwould be miles away

  • he/s a mad man. he was a foot away from bite in the dick lol

  • my favorite nature show

  • i would have loved to have seen Austin Stevens work with Steve Irwin

  • Damn! Nature You Scary!

  • Holyy crapp...this guy must be having gigantic balls....cos that was scary as fuck

  • ah yes, that well known species the "Giant Lancehead viper". Oh wait, you mean Bothrops asper. Otherwise known as, well lots of names, but not Giant Lancehead. So, umm, this name Giant Lancehead... wouldnt have anything to do with the fact that he went to Costa Rica looking for a bushmaster, but couldnt find one, would it?

    Moronic television for moronic people.

And another thing, would anywhere on the Osa peninsula qualify as "several days from medical attention"? I doubt it!

  • @spinspinsugarrr I was just there. Drake Bay and Sirena to be specific. Adequate medical help could very easily be a full day away.

  • @ksatia

    ...so not several days then.

  • @spinspinsugarrr correct, he was exaggerating. but still son, a full day could really fuck you!

  • He is out of his mind handling that snake. I ran into a 7 ft Lance in Belize. It was about 3 feet away from us in the middle of the trail we were hiking when we noticed it.

  • botrhops asper, i found one in my yard i live in Panama, its 3 ft now, feeding on rodents nice video

  • OMG I almost died!! And this guy is sick in the head. Get a still from the video if you want a picture. Cameraman must be crazy, too. Either that, or it's robotic snake.

  • he lapsed badly in the water,if she had spun around there's no way he could've gotten away in that water.

  • THIS snake IS extremely scary.

  • thank for the dream

  • well you know i herd that taipan was the most VENOMMUS snake but i got that info of the web. diff. web sites say diff. things you know!

  • @trans9able Yes the inland Taipan is the most venomous to mice... However there is absolutely ZERO proof that it is the most venomous to humans....just like their is ZERO proof for any other snake having that distinction.

Humans haven't got the faintest clue which snakes have the drop for drop toxic venom to humans..and we will probably never know

  • Those fangs are huge, would be in alot of pain if you got bit.

  • i saw one of these laying eggs on the sand over a dry river bed in my country. the locals told me that these snakes have such a potent venom that it not only affects your neurological system but it also causes skin necrosis on the area were it bites, is a really disgusting way of dying. i was lucky i didn't get bitten, i actually confused the snake with a boa and i wanted it to pick up until someone turned up and told me not to do it.

  • then monkey was like what the hell you doing at 2:03

  • He's so great!

  • ya king cobras venom is not that strong, sea snakes, taipan and black mamba, and the indian krait tiger snake.these are some of the most poisonous snakes..but the most deadly is jararacussu

  • @trans9able wrong..anyway..the most deadly is black mamba..and snakes are venomous,not poisonous..Good try anyway :)

  • 4:22 damn that is quick and a huge amount of toxic chemicals or venom

  • 2:55 Wow!!!

  • se va a morir como Steve Irwin

  • AUSTIN STEVENS is incredible! His dedication, desire and determination is almost unmatched!

  • Yeah, thats right, take out your camera when theres a ten foot snake staring you down.

  • when you smoke a joint and watch this.....godd it's something else lol

  • funny he's waving at the guys that dropped him off,and they weren't even looking at him xD

  • The most dangerous snake in honduras... farmers in my country the only thing they do is kill them with machete!

  • This guy sounds like an arrogant douchebag.

First, the monkeys alarm calls were probably because he was lumbering through the jungle. He doesn't think it's about him.

Second, the he says the snake strikes with little provocation. He's provoking the snake quite a bit. The snake is reacting to what it thinks is a predator. Maybe it is more aggressive than other snakes, but not in this case.

  • 4:21

    heart attack

  • ive seen one of htis niggas

  • 4:33 " It's like a blooming orange drink ! " LOL that bit cracks me up :)

This guy is so cool, absolute nutter, but really cool !

  • the B. asper is probably one of the most dangerous snakes in South America

  • this austin steves guy has some balls.

i would never fuck around wit a snake that dangerous

  • "All I want is to position the snake to get a good photograph" Hahahaha thats all he wants from a venomous snake with enough poison able to kill two dozen people

  • "Can you See that?! "

"Its Liek a Bloomin Orange Drink "

  • @darrenshanrawks2

Thats my fave' bit !! LOL what a nutter !

  • lol, the two on the boat just igroned him as he waved.

  • @dkr56 can shows that this might not be real

  • @isurfvan waving bye on the beach or the whole thing?

  • "I shouldnt really be doing this, but i really want to have a look at this snakes fangs" Big Balls.

  • those little white and black monkeys are awesome, them damn african monkeys are too big, id like about 3 of those little monkeys runnin around my yard

  • why does everyone take a joke at austin stevens. so what is steve irwin was a legend, hes not as good as this guy. austin steven is the best hunter iv seen on tv, not steve irwin. look, if it makes u feel better, i miss him too, we'll all remember him, RIP steve irwin, but come on. this guy would explode with laughed watching steve irwin

  • Stevens is THE MAN !

i'd shit at a grass snake

  • @sweetypie000 might want to tell that to all the steve irwin fans that hate stevens

  • @DrWhoFreak100 ok, let me rephrase it -

Stevens is THE ALIVE MAN !

i'd shit at a grass snake

  • @sweetypie000 lol yeah at least austin is alive

  • Does anyone know the make and model of the blue inflatable canoe he was using ?

  • those are some huge fangs, they look as big as those on a Gaboon viper.see the venom on it's jaws too.i would not want one of those biting me.

  • Biggest Fer De Lance I have seen ever. Great film.

  • I needed clean underwear after just watching this. This man is insane.

  • AUSTIN LEE SEGAL NORRIS CHAN VAN DAME STEVENS!!

  • The first strike from the snake made the monkeys scream lol. That is a huge snake, in Venezuela we call it " Mapanare" . They are very aggressive and have a very potent venom.

  • Austin Stevens is just great, just a man to watch and learn from.

  • @ttCrawsaive Out of all the "famous" snake hunters, he's the biggest dick. He is a great photographer that's for sure, but his programs have too much dramatic actions and music in it...maybe just for show but still. He's not the most professional and sooner or later he's going to get whacked on a deadly scale. Like his programs but not him.

  • Lanceheads are notoriously bad-tempered

  • Epic man, just epic.

  • 6:20 sti cazzi

  • I wanna stop college and become this guy's assistent.

  • the camera work in this show makes me think its set up

  • ROFLMAO

  • typical reply from a ignorant human being

  • fuck you

  • never heard of a Lance head viper. wow what an awesome snake. that I share the same first name with.

  • my dick is an awesome snake

  • Yes and im sure its poisonous.

  • that dude must have balls the size of cantelopes.

  • He's so brave, i couldn't do half the stuff he does, wouldn't have the guts.

  • Leave them alone.

Selling commercials for some TV channel isn't justification enough to go around the world hassling the wildlife.

Sooner or later he'll get what he's asking for.

    Payback from the wildlife.

  • what he's doing is educating people that snakes are not evil, no way shape or form that he is hurting them, you can tell this guy as a passion for reptiles and snakes in general...just like Steve Irwin was...the fact you are wishing him to get hurt or death makes you evil, ignorant and immature.

  • he is playing with death !!!

  • 8:37 looks like nose rub... makes me wonder if this was staged using a captive specimen?

  • Captive specimen or not, its strikes were real enough as was its amount of venom.

    Austin is a LEGEND

  • Of course. I never implied that it being a captive specimen made things any less dangerous, or any less real. I never said anything about it being a venomoid, so what you're saying is pretty obvious. The amount of respect I have for Austin, the snake, and the situation remains the same.

  • After consulting wikipedia, apparently Austin went to Costa Rica originally to film the Bushmaster but was unable to find one, instead he stumbled upon the oversized Lancehead and so the episode was changed to that.

He later found a Bushmaster in South America in another episode

    Thanks

  • listen to that soundtrack!!! could easily have been done by morricone

    beautiful!

  • This is a "barba amarilla".

I've been working in Guatemala jungle and what Austin is doing with this snake is really dangerous and, as he say, that one is really big. Normaly snakes when ear you they go away, but this have a special character and gets angry very easy and wait for you. People who live in the jungle are really scared of this type of snake which kills lot of people every year.

    Congratulations Austin Stevens, you're great!!!

  • Amazing! Austin Stevens is the REAL Indiana Jones! Thanks for posting.

  • Austin Stevens is a legend.

It took nerves of steel to handle that 8 foot Lance head!!!

  • beautiful snake

  • 4:29 "This is Fuck..nominal"

  • austin is awesome love his programmes and snakes. but doubt id be doing wot he does, but yrs of practice gets u used to it i suppose.

  • jeeze, thats a crazy amount of venom

  • love this show im a photographer myself and love to face danger like him i would love to go on some extreme adventures with him

  • it just missed his balls hope his wearing groin protection

  • This snake can kill but, it's hemotoxic venom breaks down flesh tissue...limbs come falling off first.

  • im workin with Bothrops asper venom right now in colombia. Hi everybody

  • Wow u have some balls kid

  • Is that the same thing as a Bushmaster?

  • of cours not!

  • @greekamerican1961they're related,we have them both in Trinidad, the bushmaster is bigger but this is more aggressive and waits for you !!! prolly the most aggressive snake in the world!

  • thats some serious venom

  • ya. it is.

  • its like a bleming orange drink haha lol

  • Yes sr... it is a Bothrops asper...the most dangerous viper in Mexico and northern central america...if you get a bite, you'd better get some medical attention or you are dead meat...watch your steps in jungle....

  • and if i'm not mistaken, they get pretty pissy and sometimes attack without provocation

  • Is a bothrops aspers?

  • i was in that jungle a month ago!
