@justinphill is it really that funny? you must never have been bullied then. Bullying is an incredibly hard thing to tacle, its great to see kids speaking out and schools trying new idea's. when i was at school there wasn't much done and a girl in the year below me ended up trying to kill herself over it. is that funny?

However what exactly is the difference between being 'logged' and being told to ignore it by the orignal teacher?

well by telling the teacher they are just going to get is a slap on the rist if even that. by being logged they will be on a file and the more they get logged the worse their reputation will become. also by talking to them they can sort out why they say the names and educate thwm more on the travelling life. (we are all the same they just need to be shown that)
