I named my horse after Zaphod. Well, that was from the original TV series but I did like the movie and of course the book...the whole series.

The 2005 version of HHGTTG blew chunks. The original, aired on BBC TV, was absolutely the way it was meant to be shown.

Although I did like this guy as ZB and the Vogon plains where you get slapped in the face if you have an original thought. The destroyed the robot, Arthur, Ford, etc. ... oh, and Douglas Adams _was_ in on that mess. They must have changed it after he passed on.

well ok, my comment was a little harsh. but I think it's true... they could have done much better. it's as though they wanted to get it out there as fast as they could, to honour Douglas Adams by speeding up the notoriously slow process of getting the movie made, which must have involved sacrificing the quality of it too.
