i can't believe how awful and ignorant the people laughing are. i used to think that maybe they were just bombed, but i actually am starting to think that they are the spawn of satan. especially the girl that bursts out laughing when her fragile mind mistakes what he said before the verse and the actual line as some sort of joke.

just followed a link to this video from the message boards, someone mentioned the part where he said it took him a few years to mean what he said. great moment, and inspiring words for anyone getting over a heartbreak. it WILL get better eventually.

re: the laughing/talking: unfortunately this is common at Avett shows and shows in general i suppose, which is sad. It never fails to amaze me that people at a concert make drinking and talking to their friends more important than the music.

there should be a distinction between drinking and being an idiot at shows. i drink heavily at shows and never become obnoxious or disruptive...it takes a really terrifyingly naive and immature person to act like the people did in the background of this video

@eriklofts every idiot i've encountered at a show has been drunk. so I suppose that's why I mentioned drinking as being the main sourse of the problems people have with keeping their mouths shut when it's appropriate. I'm sure are plenty of people that can drink and be respectful... but we all know... "because the damned alcohol..."

this is one of my favorite videos of this song.. But the people laughing at the end when he is talking about not meaning the last lines just kill me.. I guess people just thought he was trying to be funny, but he wasn't.. oh well.. some people just don't get it.. still a great video!

I didn't know he wouldn't play this song live. I heard Scott wouldn't ever play November Blue again, but they played it last time we saw them. i think maybe it is because the went to a major label. Getting some of the classics back in rotation.
