  • the 1.3 HDMI cable supports some sort of 3D, ofc, but only for the 1080i resolution. To support 3D in all resolutions you'll need the 1.4 one.

  • @archimagus89 So to have a good quality in 3D movies, I must purchase a HDMI 1.4 cable for my PS3?

  • works on my samsung un55c7000

  • Since hdmi cables send the information digitally, it will either work perfectly or not work at all. There will never be a quality issue. So those gold plated monster cables will work exactly as cheap hdmi cables. I have a 10 $ hdmi 1.3 cable and it works perfectly with my 3dtv

  • @justicegerbil a committee I presure

  • why is that viewing something in 3D makes me feel nauseating

  • @Kingmanification because you were using active shutter glasses try the new passive glasses technology by LG

  • how do you deactivate the 3d

  • what happend to just pliuggin in your console to your tv and you where perfect to go

  • @FuckinFirstRecon what happened to women not being allowed to vote?

  • I bought a samsung sers 7000 3d 240hz best tv i rekon i just bought a $120 hdmi 1.4 its hard to tell the diff from a $40 hdmi 1.3 but the 1.4 seems faster its speed is 100mbs but in the end its worth it for my 5.1 home theatre dts hd mst audio :)

  • I can't get this to work with my 3d projector. It just doesen't even ask if I want to use 3d. Help please! :< Is there a patch or something wich i need to download because I didn't find anything?

  • @FoleyQ Yeah and i have that motherfucking 300€ cable so the problem isnt in that.

  • so, PS3 3d be work on hdmi v1.3 port on device (projector)? or not? or work but only for tv?

  • Will there be 3D for the xbox 360?

  • So will i be able to play 3d on my 3dtv with a 1.3 hmdi cable? Will the quality of the 3d be any better with a 1.4?

  • i got a 3d tv SO SUCKK IT ALL OF U

  • And what more do you get out of it compared to HD TV? I see little benefit because few programs are made for 3D, and anybody not wearing the proper glasses is going to see a distorted picture. Not to mention those stereoscopic (3D) glasses will run you about a hundred dollars a pop. So I'm missing it, what exactly is so much better about your TV--particularly to a consumer without funds to arbitrarily blow?

Perhaps I'll consider when they become more reasonably priced and 3D is more wide-spread

  • @Sanadzappy123vI got a Personalized 65 Inches 3D SAMSUNG Series 9000 bitches so died biatch and i got my sansung 3d player and 7 glasses my hmdi 1.4 and 10 movies including the world cup playoffs games muahahaha and i already had my ps3 lil bastard muahahahahah I'm $ carrier

  • @negro28otero me 2 retard

  • the difference between 1.3 and 1.4 is the ethernet.

1.3 and 1.4 have the same bandwidth 10.2gbps.

  • @mistapaul I think you need to some more research. Just because it has ethernet does not make it 1.4. Monster cable has 21.6gbps cables. Some 1.3 with ethernet will give you 3d with no problems. However it all depends on length. Anything over 30 feet and you really need a nice high bandwidth cable. 10.2gbps is only minimum standard.

  • @gwalia4 1.3 dosnt come with ethernet! check it!

my ps3 sends 3d to my tv via 1.3!

  • I have a 3d tv and the 3d movies look like shit on the ps3. U will need to get the 3d players to enjoy real 3d

  • i was at a tech show recently and the Sony guy said that while you can game in 3D on a 1.3HDMI cable you'll definately need a 1.4 spec if you plan on watching 3D movies at 1080p once they bring out the firmware update to allow it. i picked up a 1.4 off ebay for £5, so it's not big deal to swop your cable out.

  • ok i need anyone help on this question i have a onkyo 507 receiver its 5.1 i have it hooked up to my bose acoustomass 10 speakers know i am looking to get a SAMSUNG LED 3D READY TV i know that the hdmi ports are 1.4 BUT will i still be ablie to put in my 1.3 hdmi plug into my onkyp 507 receiver the receiver is not 1.4 ready my guess is that i may have to go out and buy a new 1.4 ready onnkyo receiver what do i dooo help me. PLEASE.

  • @joseph10704 This is a very easy problem to solve. First you must grt your 1.3 hdmi cable. Next you must suck an elephant penis. When finished, use the elephant goo and rub it on your hdmi cable while kissing a gorilla. Then plug the hdmi cable into the led tv and it should work as a brand new 1.4 hdmi cable! good luck!

  • @joseph10704 u have to go out and buy a new 1.4 hdmi ready onnkyo receiver i had a yamaha receiver with 1.3 hdmi inputs and it couldnt send the 3d signal through to my 3d samsung tv to play motorstorm 3d on my ps3 i bought a yamaha 1.4hdmi ready receiver and hey presto hope this helps

  • i work for a tv retailer and we just set up sony's kdl46hx800 3d capable lcd.. after downloading firmware update onto blu-ray for 3d compatibility we decided to try the monster 1000 hdmi that will hold 3d then try our lower 4.74 gbps "720p" rated cable out and got outstanding performance from both.. could not tell the difference in the lower bandwidth cable so it just makes u wonder how much marketing is out there.

  • but the HDMI 1.4 is different from 1.3, so What am i missing with ps3 3D?, plz reply.
