They fought against janissaries too, Napoleon defeated the mameluks and conquered Egypt in 1798. In 1799 Ottoman empire allied to Britain declared war to France, Napoleon invaded Syria took some places and defeated the ottoman army at Mont thabor but failed at the siege of Acre, he goes back to Egypt. A new ottoman army landed to Abukir, Napoleon defeated it and returned to France. in 1800 his successor Kleber defeated a new ottoman army at Heliopolis but he was murdered just after.
you are leaving out the fact that Napoleon completely destroyed the ottoman forces in egypt. You are also forgetting to mention that the British Navy helped the Ottomans in that battle by helping to give supplies and weapons.

Strategically, it would make sense for the allies to have the Ottomans (dirty as they were) simply to facilitate the Russian navy (Black Sea) and transport logistics. However, the Turks wanted to reinstate the Caliphate (Ottoman no doubt) which would have flown-in-the-face of British interests. From this perspective it made sense for them to join the Germans. The Jannisaries are a bit too numerous, Napoleon and Kleber often faced the Azabs, Azaps or Azzars as they are called.- more lighter infantry on the flanks.
Also if you could try and mess up the Ottoman troops so they dont fire in volley (hard game mechnic i know). They usually fired as individuals with aimed fire (possibly in files rather than rank).

I think this game produced by total war studios. I have played a game like this one entitled ROME: Total War. In this game, even barbarian like the Goth can defeat Romans. Thus it is not surprised that this player can defeat Janissaries.

They fought against janissaries too, Napoleon defeated the mameluks and conquered Egypt in 1798. In 1799 Ottoman empire allied to Britain declared war to France, Napoleon invaded Syria took some places and defeated the ottoman army at Mont thabor but failed at the siege of Acre, he goes back to Egypt. A new ottoman army landed to Abukir, Napoleon defeated it and returned to France. in 1800 his successor Kleber defeated a new ottoman army at Heliopolis but he was murdered just after.

Trust me, the ottoman army was completely destroyed in Egypt at the battle of the Pyramids. Almost all of the Ottoman prisoners of war were mercilessly slaughtered after the battle by order of Napoleon.

First of all, they are not Jannisaries. I dont know why Europeans call every Ottoman soldier as Jannisary but they were only a small part of the empire. Main groups were regulars (common people) and Spahis (elite Turkish horseman).
In that battle, the leader of Ottoman Army was Ahmed Cezzar Paşa and his army was newly formed "Nizam-ı Cedid". The war happened in front of the castle of Akka and it was the victory of Turks not Franks.

True, they were not native turks, however, they were Ottoman. As subjects to the Ottoman empire, they were considered Ottoman. Most of the Janissaries where Christian slaves, criminals, and prisoners of war.

Yes they did, during the Egyptian campaign 1799 1800, Napoleon' troops defeated the turks in the 3 pitched battles. Ottoman army of that time was simply no match for a good european army.
battle of Mont Thabor 1799 5000 french soldiers (Napoleon) defeated 30 000 turks.
battle of Aboukir 1799 7000 french soldiers (Napoleon) defeated 18 000 turks
battle of Heliopolis 1800 10 000 french soldiers(Kleber) defeated 60 000 turks.

The Mamlukes were semi-independant and for the last 100 years had been rebellious to independent. The battle of the Pyramids was the Mamluke/Egyptian Army. It was also the Egyptian Army at Mont Thabor.
At Aboukir it was the Ottoman Navy's troops/marines of the Levant
At Helipolis it is uncertain as to whether regular Ottoman forces were there at all.

Strategically, it would make sense for the allies to have the Ottomans (dirty as they were) simply to facilitate the Russian navy (Black Sea) and transport logistics. However, the Turks wanted to reinstate the Caliphate (Ottoman no doubt) which would have flown-in-the-face of British interests. From this perspective it made sense for them to join the Germans. But, your point is interesting. Thoughts?

Very good work mate. I know its hard to do something like this but if you wouldnt mind can I make some observations.
The Jannisaries are a bit too numerous, Napoleon and Kleber often faced the Azabs, Azaps or Azzars as they are called.- more lighter infantry on the flanks.
Also if you could try and mess up the Ottoman troops so they dont fire in volley (hard game mechnic i know). They usually fired as individuals with aimed fire (possibly in files rather than rank).

I think this game produced by total war studios. I have played a game like this one entitled ROME: Total War. In this game, even barbarian like the Goth can defeat Romans. Thus it is not surprised that this player can defeat Janissaries.
