  • amazing técnica!

  • waooo sin palabras

  • I hear a bit of Guajiras in there.

  • Yes....he is the classical god today!!!!! dont even reply to this comment saying otherwise...There is none better who is alive....now shut the hell up and listen...hehehehehe!!!!!

  • @poupee58 I understand that you're extremely jealous of Pepe, but you don't need to hate. You should just appreciate the music. It's probably better than anything you or I will ever play.

  • amazing!

  • Bravo!!Muy bueno!!

Donde se podria conseguir la partitura??

    Una composicion que me fascina

    Gracias

  • ME HA DEJADO SIN PALABRAS, INCREIBLE!!!!!

  • Pepe without a doubt is my favorite guitarist, not only because of his classic guitar technique, but also because he has great command of the flamenco technique, something most classical music guitar masters lack. I also love his interpretations. Perhaps it is his versatility that attracts me the most. I watch his videos constantly to see what I can learn.

This piece is fantastic. I once saw a documentary of the Romero family. His father was something else. Great history, great tradition!

  • Pepe ,enough with you flashy tricks .How about playing some proper music ,not this dross.

  • @poupee58 you're an idiot.

  • Hey Pepe ,as a musician and a guitarist your playing insults me .Stick to your circus/ party tricks and leave the music to others.

  • More unmusical dross from this charlatan.

  • qué maestro ! cuantos colores que logra..

  • il se prend pour evh ou quoi !!! je plaisante ,c est remarquable !

  • ottimo veramente . questa musica riescea farmi dimenticare per un pò le tristezze della vita

  • show off!

  • Outstanding!

  • When was this first composed? And when was it recorded and is it available?

  • You mean was it composed before Van Halen? right?

  • he looks at the neck of the guitar almost as if hes mentally telegraphic every beautiful note

  • virtuoso!, wonder if his father was required study? great stuff man!

  • ypu suck, tony iommi wouldn't say something so ignorant.

  • Stupendo! Grazie.

  • WOW! Does anyone know where one can get the sheet music for this piece?

I've searched and searched for it to no avail.

  • I have a autographed score, Celedonio gave me.

  • whats the name of the technique he uses at he end of the song just before he does the tapping?

He kind of bangs on the guitar using his thumb or palm of the hand.

  • tambora

  • thanks for the reply, yes, tambora it gives an interesting, percussive hollow sound.I noticed it's utilised in Tarrega's gran jota aswell.

  • The Jota is very challenging. I just started working on it and noticed it takes a lot of stamina to get thru just a few of the variations.

  • @blinddog99 Tambora

  • Very beautifully written piece, and extremely hard to play. I had the pleasure of meeting The Romeros last week, and Pepe in particular is just about the kindest most educated musician that anyone could ever meet

  • He isn't actually, but it would have been curiously hilarious and depressing if he were.

  • Celedonio Romero is dead, but he is the composer. Pepe is not dead.

  • Pepe is a teacher at USC

  • @tommorello55

    USC=?

  • @cihad2003

University of Southern California. It's a private college in Los Angeles.

  • He chowbird - 2 chords eh? well it is modeled on flamenco for one and secondly - I bet you could not play this tune - or even come close to playing it with the quality, speed, clarity etc etc

  • good musicalite,sonalite

  • it's like a guajira

  • thats a pice for people that dont know about music, i mean, 2 chords (A, D) cmon where is the creativity, its perfect for an encore but its too boring

  • creativity and musicality aren't subject to the amount of chords used, try to enjoy things for what they are.

  • this song? is two chords?

  • The fact that there is only two chords should pay omage to Celedonios writing. Remember that it is a clasical guitar cuban dance. The number of chords does not reflect the quality of the music. It merely shows the amount of creativity and freedom and simplicity that music can be. there does not have to be 32nd note harmonized riffs and double bass with scremers to create music. in fact that stuff is mostly heartless.

  • @chowibird the theme from beethoven's 5th symphony is just 2 notes, should he have been more creative?

  • anyone notice how long the video iZss %)

  • is that a scalloped classical guitar..

  • no, in fact it is just shiny in the places where his fingers have deposited oils.

  • holy shit this guys is pretty good

  • Absolutely love it!

    for sure 5*****

  • pepe romero, his playing shows us why it's a great thing to play the guitar!

  • Pepe is so tight that I sit there waiting for him to screw up. A dead note. A wrong note. A rough rhythm transition. This is obscenely competent. Things don't need to be perfect to be beautiful. This is perfect, and beautiful. Even the chaotic raking s wicked. CLASSICAL TAPPING FTW!!

  • I love this one!

  • Where can i find the sheet music for this?

  • I knew a guy once who had a copy of C. Romero's Suite Andaluz (where the fantasia is from), but all of my searches recently have shown the piece to be out of print.

  • @mooniethecat

you can find the tabs here:

    w w w classtab o r g

  • @mbayssel Thank u sooooo much!!!!!! We need more people like you!!!!

  • @mbayssel I can't find the tab Fantasia from Celedonio Rormero there.

  • great

u are also the best tarrega player

  • ...Its seems so effortlessly done... wow.

  • A wonderful piece and well performed by a magical artist who inspires and impresses. Truly Pepe is a master!

  • Great variations on the theme! Especially on the tapping and slurs! C'mon people write your observations - that is what this thing is for!

  • Is this D tunning? Surely sounds like it! Then it must by D Maj! Anybody?

  • All those wankers on YouTube claiming to be the fastest guitarist need to watch this and go practice another 20 years.

  • that was absolutely beautiful. Pepe is a legend!

  • tapping goes wayyyy back before romeros. try more like sor and guiliani

  • First time I ever saw a classical guitarist tap.

  • then you haven't seen much.

    :D

  • awesome, and to all you rockers who think classical is an old, boring genre, guess where tapping thats so important to your solos came from? classical, particulary the romeros and this piece.

  • Yeah, tapping WAY before Eddie Van Hillbilly....

  • Actually, studying classical can be a very rewarding practice- I've noticed that it helps me to think while I'm playing in different genres, too.

  • yeah, really, listen to the Assad brothers version. Especially because it was composed for them.

  • hah, classical guitar rules...first in 2 handed picking and first in shredding!

  • if u wanna hear some awesome guitaring download fantasia suite by al di meola. I nearly fainted

  • You fainted because someone was destroying art, or you fainted because you like listening to idiots?

  • yah al dimeola is a joke. he's but one step above malmsteen and all those lame shredders

  • ca demonte!!!! exelent!!!

  • Master. Can't get enough of Pepe.

  • Awesome.

  • ahah sab laughing my ass off xDD
