@alrad2020 I don't know why you even bothered to make that comment. If the artist was trying to be Supertramp, then Supertramp's samples wouldn't even be in the song, and it'd be a completely different person singing the same vocals... It's simply a mix, not a rivalry against the original. If you don't appreciate it, at least give some criticism and explain why you don't like it, rather then just saying "don't try to be Supertramp". This song is great, especially for us who prefer this genre.

Here's an idea. Remove the laurel canyon contribution and leave the good stuff (ie supertramp).

This mix is mundane and too long.

Not too impressed actually. The band version is a classic from my youth. This is rather long and unimaginative. A bit like an unwanted remake of a classic movie which doesn't stack up against the original. Seems to lack imagination.
