They usually keep em for 20 but maybe cuz chicagos a busy fire city they get rid of em sooner

you shouldn't have stopped filming when they got the alarm for a run at the end.. i've been trying to record that sound forever! its almost impossible!

When I was in Chicago a few years ago, Tower Ladder 1 was an older 135' ladder. E-One maybe?
Anyone know if it's still in service somewhere?

i think its been retired. the old one must have been close to 16 years old.
