i got an rc car today. gets close to 100mph! but i was drivin it in the rain and the gear stripped..lmao. so i gotta go and get a new gear. but they are so cool, on mine, you need wheels on the back of it, like drag racers need on there cars, cause if you dont with mine, it does a backflip when you gas it :D

its been 2 months, and no video... and on the box it says 70+ with 3s LiPos and the correct gearing. without the correct gearing you can make that 70mph go down to 60 or even 50.... and dont act like you kow much about r/c cars, because if you did, you would ,know all of this.

friend of your works at a hobby store? so? that means nothing, i know a whole bunch of people that work at a hobby store. takes at least a good 3-4 months of hard bashing to break it in.... you know when u break it in, when you can take part every single part in the car, clean it, and put it back together(this includes diffs and shocks)... it doesnt take a couple hours to break it in..

hw fast is 50-60 kmm? cos i;ve got a 1/8 scale hpi savage 3.5 and that does between 30-40 mph and thats enough for me becasue u cant drive them any faster off raod unless yuo wanted tor ace them then yes they would be to slow. but great vid i would make a vid similar but then i'd have to clean ti after and so on plus it's broken atm haha.

When you race you don't hit very fast speeds anyway. unless maybe a drag race, otherwise the courses are too technical for too much speed

Go watch some 'brushless revo' vids. I have two nitro cars (Revo and 1:8 mayhem buggy). I stuck both of them on the shelf and got a brushless revo. They are faster, longer runtimes, lighter, quiter, no maintenance. I still like nitro, but on a track, nitro can't compete with brushless.

These aren't made to be the fastest R/C's. They appeal to modelers who want realism and durability. Pump gas is also a big plus, so it is more convenient.

The only downside I can see is parts availablity. Your regular hobby shop won't stock these things.
