Innis's avatar design looks very different than her phase form... but when I saw the colors of the Innis phase, i spotted that the colors the phase was Pink or purplish no green color at all. My theory is that, as Shino was the original host of the Innis epitaph her avatar form would've resembled the original phase but when she got PKed the Epitaph was forced to move and adapt its form to another player, in this case Atoli.

I've noticed that, typically, each avatar design stays true to their original phase form in some manner, but could someone please point out if there are any similarities behind Innis' avatar form and phase form?

@Bayonet300 The pattern in the avatar's "dress" is the same as the one on phase form's stone tablet. Other than that I couldn't really notice anything else.

The reason why some find it so painful to play is because there are so many people out there who are experiencing what Atoli experienced. It is what I regard as one of the evilest systems ever put into place. The Social Norm, The Status Quo. Accept it or you won't be accepted. A game with rules that if broken are punished harshly, and yet not everyone CAN follow them. Even friends can't help you, because then they are targetted as well, and there is only so long that few can stand against many.

I think that really does relate to Atoli, in the manner that she's probably one of the most depressing and messed up characters irl. She's deceitful in the way that she always smiles and hides whatever pain she might be going through in her real life. @_@ So when she suddenly becomes her real, emo self, she's betraying her friends/Haseo because they typically relied on her for smiles and rainbows. ;D

Of course she's older and more mature so she's better at hiding her pain, though it shows pretty well when Ovan disappears. Actually the only two fight's I had any difficulty with are Ovan and Taihaku. The only Avatar battles I had difficulty with were Azure flame god, Cubia beta, and AIDA Oswald

XD The stories there were so hardcore, like hers. *Please no one flame me, it's an opinion: I also thought Ryou as Sora was 100 times better than him as Haseo. :S .hack didn't need high school drama and furries to be cool. And what happened to -real- Grunties?? T^T (Though it's true Macha's design in GU is rediculously awesome. XD)

Regarding the Phases' new designs, I also noticed they all still have the eyes. Back in the original .hack games, all the Phases had at least one eye somewhere on their body (which is interesting, considering that's what Corbenik's final form was). And here they are again, complete with the eyes on their bodies, representative of their bond to Morganna. It's quite interesting.

I disagree on the annoying part. it was kinda easy though. I was really into killing her, but then came the "WHY DON'T YOU LOOK AT ME?! NOBODY EVER LOOKS AT ME!!" Kinda felt sad for her, so i got attacked with my new feelings of regret towards attacking her. BUUUUUUT, I got over it when Skeith got to 1/2 health. Chopped her up into bite sized data candy.
