Dit klinkt bijna richting viking metal hier en daar. Toen ik jullie in Exit had gezien klonk het meer power metal. Deze band gaat alle kanten op! Klinkt in ieder geval ontzettend goed.
@Drazlak mmm im not a fan of that heavy voice cant they sing normal like heidevolk, I got a example of a fucking great intro ruined by that heavy voice lemuria-A day of reckoning
@dragongame2 FYI most folk metal bands grunt (heavy voices) heidevolk is actually quite extraordinary for their normal voices imo, they're awesome though but this band is also really good.
ik heb alleen 42 days gehoord het klonk meer in de richting pirate dan folks maar ja om ook echt goede folks metal te maken moet je juist aparte instrumenten gebruiken zoals een fluit en viool.
om meer in de richting pirate style zou een accordeon ook nog een leuke rol kunnen vervullen.
als je toch al bezig bent met het zoeken naar een gitarist zou een violist ook geen kwaad kunnen twee vliegen in een klap, maar ja het is maar een suggestie
@RottingTroll Cheers! The reason we did grunts on this demo is because we didn't have a singer yet. Our drummer grunts here. Since then we've found a great bariton singer. The clean vocals on this song are done by our guitarist Jurgen who does backing vocals nowadays.

so lucky heidevolk is not alone. I now grunt is the official name for it I just forget XD they are not bad I dont like grunting in songs

Saw them last saturday live...
althrough they had bad sound there, they rocked my world:p
but i liked the singers clean voice more, he sounded like Tobias Sammet singing in Visions of Atlantis.
This band sounded like Folk and Power metal put together; loved it !
