I hate the people who think O'Sullivan is better than Hendry, quite simply Hendry has won 7 World Titles and O'Sullivan has won 3 so overall Hendry was and possibly still is better.

I belive that Hendry is honest, when he says that while training, he pots everything, and 3 of four frames are centurys. This frame proves, that he is a top class potter and tactic. But take a look at his average play. He can play a brilliant frame or two, but then something happens and he plays like a player out of the top100. Sometimes it happens to everyone, but it happens to often with Stephen. He is not sure in himself i think.

But i also do think that he still is able to enter top 3.

@victor140780 thats because he's 43 years old, he cant play the way he played at his his best, once u get old, you lose vision, balance, and plus hendry doesn't need to prove himself anymore as he has won everything. sullivan beating hendry wudn't matter to hendry since sullvan still needs to prove himself and hendry is just playing for timepass.

Watch the 94 uk final where hendry made a record number of centuries in a single match, a record that ronnie will never surpass. That being said I honestly think if they were both at their best it would be a 50/50 match, the only difference was that hendry was consistantly at his best or close to it for a decade. Ronnie is more naturaly talented but don't let that cloud who is better at the game.

I never contested the fact that Hendry was more consistent. He played at his best or near that level far more often than Ronnie, that is why he has won much more, but that doesn't matter. It's very simple. Hendry has been playing 7 years longer.Ronnie has a better century average. If Hendry stops playing now, and Ronnie keeps playing for another 7 years , he will have more centuries. As 4 the equal number of 147's , since Hendry has played 7 years longer, this equality proves Ronnie is far better. Plus any top player could of made Hendry's latest 147, the one in this video I mean.The balls were nicely spread,he didn't even had to break the pack. All the shots were easy.

@outdoorpooltable tbh no one came after hendry to dominate the game thats because they weren't great and genius as hendry was in his peak, to get another naturally as talented as hendry will take long time, sulliavan was supposed to be the next stephen hendry but failed to live up the hype. higgins and sulliavan only started shining when hendry became old, so waited for his peak to end, thats how great hendry was at his peak.

Hendry can do anything what sullivan can do, like play fast attacking style in 80s, but sullivan cant do different style like hendry becaus hendry is genius in the game.

Hendry beat weak opponents like John Parrot, an old Steve Davis, Allan McManus, Dave Harold, Darren Morgan, Neal Foulds,Fergal O'Brien,Nigel Bond,etc. Nowadays the standard of the game is higher. It's far harder for a person to dominate.
