  • Sad indeed. But I didn't even know he was still alive. So I'm also delighted that many have been able to enjoy his mastery all these years... And of course the Suks were (are?) a great dynasty in music.

  • @jeffg2020 The big Dynasty of great Czech violinists (Dvorak - Suk - Suk) ended with demise of Josef Suk.

  • @jeffg2020 Thank you for your warm words. I have sad message. Maestro Josef Suk has died 6th July 2011 and it was his funeral just today. Ria
