Just a little over a month later LMR ran their 2010 camaro and ran a 9.98 @ 144 making it the first 2010 Camaro into the 9s and the Fastest one in the World. At the time of course. There are faster then 9.98 now and that car is even faster then it was then.
Point being, it is a resonable claim if you can back it up.

@bluestangGT2001 I just believe in run it like you run it on the streets.. No my car runs 9s but hold on need to put slicks on wait got to fill up and open bottle.. Same tires I run and daily drive (25K miles a year) on the streets with is what I run at the track with. Just wish they would get rid of that roll cage rule..
@IXGQ4LifeXI it all just depends on what your goals are, sure this car is great, and it is nice u can drive it on the street, but u can only go so fast on the stock block, drivetrain and street tires, if u wanna go as fast as possible u eventually have to sacrifice street use. or atleast be prepared to switch tires at the track, ect.

The car to date is the fastest 5th gen again, It went a 5.97@119.50 on June 11,2010 at Northstar Dragway in Sanger Texas. It is a 1/8 mile track. This is my car, thanks. First to break into the 5's with a 1.38 60ft.

im a ford guy and this car is amazing. just a cam helps these ls motor soooooo much! with out the 200 shot im guessing mid to high 11s which is still good for a bolt on car. but i dont know if i would say a cam is bolt on.

Its fast but not the worlds fastest. Louisville Kentucky has a yellow one called bumble bee that runs top fuel in the 1/4 runs 6.08. Not sure bout the mph. you got a nice car though
Wow! 134 mph in the 1/4!! That's faster than my uncles procharged 557 rwhp 02' Z06! He trapped 129 in the 1/4 & that car is a monster. It makes my modded C6 feel slow lol. Very impressive man!
