  • Enough of your stupid minute long intro just get to the fucking video!

  • There's no such thing as "price gouging"

  • Cavuto has oil stocks, perhaps is why he's defending oil gouging and market speculators? And sad to say, congress doesn't care. And it almost seems that american citizens don't care as if to say even if they BOTHERED to care, it won't matter. It DOES matter if enough people get together and protest.

  • Cavuto never defends price gouging; he simply believes that Congress could build more refineries to reduce gas prices but aren't. Like it or not, Congess is corrupt, they don't really care about the American people, they just do what it takes to get re-elected. The politicians, that are Congress, look out for their campaign contributors by passing legislation that is favorable for them.

  • bring back the old days; when we would turn on the news and get "news" not commentary ALL the time. Cavuto is an asshole and Fox news is a blight on our planet

  • Excellent post. Stupak beat Cavuto on every point. Look at Cavuto getting all steamed and red-faced because his argument was failing! Why do you suppose Cavuto (who is as arrogant as it gets) was so worked up? It is because he knew he was losing the argument. In fact he was so frustrated that his smugger than smug persona vanished. The weak logic and emotional display reveal him for the ankle-grabbing corporate shill he is. It was most enjoyable to see him get flayed on his own propaganda show!

  • I disagree that Stupak won; he never answered the question of who sets oil prices or why no refineries have been built since '76. He kept repeating the same phrase that "the oil companies are gouging the American people", but gave little evidence to back that charge up. I think Stupak was right in saying that we should not be subsidizing the oil industry, but he never addressed the basic law of supply and demand which is caused by countries like China and India increasing their consumption.
