Free stuff in Cuba is expensive, you have to sell your sold to the government, otherwise you end up in the cane fields or you take a raft and try to get to Miami. I do not understand why people people flee by the millions such a paradise where equality is the norm and everybody is happy, but even the internet is off limits to their own people.

The blinding propaganda against Cuba in the U$ renders U$ citizens incapable of knowing in what high esteem Cuba is held in other parts of the world.
One really has to live in Cuba to experience the beauty of the system. The deprived people of the U$ can't comprehend what it would be like to have no homeless people, free education, the right to food etc. Where a poverty of social justice reigns as it does in the US, there's no hope of understanding the equality in Cuba.

I've traveled to Cuba and have seen how Castro's inept system has brought a once prosperous nation into third world status. One thriving industry, however, which gets a lot of business from tourists, is prostitution. One of Castro's legacies.
