So just to get this straight: I cancel the last hit of the super into dash, do a mp dp which I input the other direction since i dash under ryu., after that I dash into the direction I came from before, and input the lp dp in the "original" directionn, the one I also input the super from? So two side changes in this combo?
How the FUCK do you do combo 3,4 OR 5? it seems impossible to do with the fucking controller and its driving me insane with these retarded speed of light timings for the combos -_-
@AzureFayt Using an arcade stick makes linking combos way more easier. If you listen carefully to his inputs you won't hear a single tap while doing stMP-stLKxx hcfLP for example. This guy is using double tap, so it makes one-frame combos into two framers. It's quite impossible to use this technique on a gamepad :o
@Bronxtigeraso Yeah, it's neutral HK. I've been trying to get this one for the longest and I wasn't too familiar with kara cancels so I had no idea the combo called for it. Then I heard someone say you had to kara cancel with HK and I tried and though I'm still trying to get the second Fukiage off in time I know the kara cancel is right. To do the neutral HK kara you have to input the DP command then put the stick in neutral for a split second(letting go helps) before you press the HK-MP
first of all, for her trial 5 100% stun combo, it must be her HK super (farthest) or else the combo wont land. as a makoto player i've had many trial and errors. dont forget that the first fukiage is a kara using her HK for the backward motion. must be done ASAP so you have enough time to dash over because if its too late the dash will be late and the lp fukiage wont connect. to be honest i think this is way easier on d-pad :p but thats just me. hope this helps!
@Bronxtigeraso makoto has 2 karas.using her lk to move her forward and her hk to move her backwards. yes you use her hk~mp fukiage and then the dash for her lp fukiage. confuing i know lol sorry
In trial 5 after last dp cnt u jumping neutral fierce. Frm wat I remember the last jumping fierce makes de combo a stun combo.also Kara needed for last dp?
Can someone offer some tips on landing the second Fukiage on trial 5. Does the combo have a strict spacing when starting it or is it flexible as long as Ryu is not to close to the corner. Thanks!
@helgenx No, he is right. 3S got alot of shit back in the day for being so much different than past SFs. There were complaints about things from the nearly completely new cast to the hip-hop style music to the leniency of parries. And don't even get me started on the balance complaints. This all happened, and in great frequency, but it's been over 10 years and ppl have played it for so long that they grow to love all the things they hated. Oh damn, I need another post for this...
Im having trouble with #5, at times when I do everything right the last upward punch misses and sometimes the opponent bounces off to the other direction on the first upward punch after the Super Art.
All a matter of personal opinion, clearly. I didn't play SF since the old days of SF2 on amiga, until SF4 came out. I've played a bunch of other fighters, but never 3rd strike for instance. Having bought and played it, I think SF4 is better. I do like the parry system in 3rd strike, but otherwise, I definitely prefer SF4.
@xblfanatic360 By who? Is there a board that decides that? Plenty of people think ST is the best Street Fighter there is, but I guess the motion to declare it as the "best evar" wasn't passed.
@Amaz1nGrace lol no im just sayin that this was considered the best because it required almost perfect button movements to do combos correctly and everything was almost perfectly balanced
@pprq55 And it's considered the best with good reason. It's controls are tight, the looks are stylish, the music is fantastic, and it takes skill to play.
@chris20855 That's funny. Back when SF3 was relatively new everybody complained that the controls were easy (shortcut DPs), the music sucked, and the parries made the game skill-less. I love 3S, i'm just saying back then everybody hated the game and said it was responsible for the US arcade scene dying down since the glory days of SF2.
@stickyresin What in the motherfucking hell are you talking about? Nobody ever said that shit, is everybody "yourself"? Because I never heard that. In fact, there's probably more 3S players now than ST. While 3S is not in tourneys like SBO, there is still tons more underground tournaments for it and a bigger scene for it. Plus, anybody who can play 3S good can play just about any other game good, like ST. I do play ST too, but 3S is just not for everybody, and I like that about it.
@helgenx what the fuck are you talking about? 3S has been in EVERY SBO tournament since the beginning. get your facts straight. stickyresin didn't say anything incorrect, were you even in the FG scene when SF3 dropped?
@helgenx Don't get so defensive. I said I love 3S, I'm just saying that when it was first released it got a lot of shit from the general community. The exact same things that you say are what makes 3S so great is what everybody was complaining about. I was commenting on how fickle the community was and how a game can "suck" when it's first released, and then 10 years later everybody calls it a classic.
@stickyresin Hah, I get what your saying now. Actually, I played 2nd impact a lot, and when they changed basically the whole engine in 3S, I HATED it. Then I played it after 2 years of it was released and left 2nd impact, and from them on I still say it's the best game in general.
@OneManArmy519 Dude I told you on XBL , what he did was SA2 (abare tosanami)> dash forward and then uppercut on in the left direction as fast as you can , then you dash left and do a LP Fukiage in the right direction
So just to get this straight: I cancel the last hit of the super into dash, do a mp dp which I input the other direction since i dash under ryu., after that I dash into the direction I came from before, and input the lp dp in the "original" directionn, the one I also input the super from? @helgenx There's a serious issue with the FG community accepting something new. This griping process has been continuing in a cycle ever since HDR.
