Monty Hall was as big a TV household name as Bob Barker in the early 70s. Let's Make a Deal was the number one 'no brains please' gameshow before The Price is Right established it's audience. In fact, many of the LMAD product games anticipated the Price is Right.

Barker ust hate this show because od the furs LMAD had as prizes! LMAD was fun to watch whereas TPIR was always politizied with his comment's and opinions on animal rights etc.
