  • kid, you are killing me! What planet are you from? I am not talking just about the technique which can be learned but your sense of musicality, phrasing, you are amazing. You understand how music works.

  • he is not a prodigy in a purely technical sense of dexterity at the piano, but he is precocious as an all-round musician; he plays classical, jazz, he's good at improvising and he really understands how music is composed in an analytical way. A prodigious musician rather than just pianist.

  • my god this is frightening!!

  • WTF wow...

  • The next mozart ! :)

  • Que dire ... à part que c'est fantastique !

Mes félicitations à toi Ariel !

  • amazing! by the way, he looks pretty uncomfortable on that tall stool!

  • thats almost freaky

  • lmno!!!

  • Geez... I'd love to give him a Rachmaninoff sonata out of spite.

  • bravooooooooo!

  • Very nice!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is truly amazing.

  • Wonderful Chopin's performance!

  • One of the top on Planet Earth!!!

  • 7 years old, oh my god! I'm 16 now and I have just learned to play it! so jealous jaja congratulations! :)

  • yeah, that just gave you more credibility. realize you have to be on a certain level of music maturity to even comprehend chopin's pieces let alone arise to the technical level and expression. judging by your mozart, you have a delicacy about you that should be good for chopin. but still, i have to hear you play Chopin.

  • bullshit, you couldn't even tie your shoes at 9. if you played this at 9, post a video on a song you can play now.

  • talent. . . . . . .

  • he'll learn ;)

  • Performing music is like public speaking. You have to know how to deliver the message successfully. It's not just playing notes ;)

  • I just made it more interesting. Especially the beginning.

  • oh ok. I guess you really need the music notation to explain how to make it better. That makes sense.I heard a different performance and I liked it better but it's still impressive that someone so young can even play it.Good for you playing it when you were 9.I think 1 way that helps performers make it more interesting is understanding the theory and also the intention of the composer.I would say study the chords & the sections to know where you are in the message that you want to deliver.

  • No comment, just beautifull :D

  • This is the quicksilver etude right?

  • which country you come from?

  • Magnifique Amazing!!

Une des meilleurs interpretations que j'ai entendu

    Bonne continuation à toi

  • Amazing! How old are you?

  • i am so jealous.

  • o. my. god.

  • That kid's got a brilliant future, though you wrote edute instead of etude xD

  • PRODIGY PRODIGY. LOL

  • Thats a true "Prodigy"...be on the look out for this boy,he will be the next chopin, hes playing one of chopin's hardest pieces...GOD IS GREAT AND THAT BOY PROOFS IT!!!! : )

  • chopin would have never played like this.... -.-

  • OK dude, let's see you try it.

  • He means the kid plays even better than chopin himself -.-

  • Nono- he means that Chopin had a much less physical condition than most people. He would play it much softer, without so much pedal, if at all. Do some reading before you criticize.

If you want me to play it, I'll be happy to upload myself in a few weeks.

  • Oh...Never mind then,,,

    This kid's awesome.

    Sorry, my bad.

  • Heres hoping Ariel will compose one day. "Very talented,he is."

  • OMG!!!

  • great job !!!!!

  • Ugh...

  • Bravo champion tu très bien mais petite critique constructif je pense que tu la joue sur un tempo trop rapide.(corriger moi si je ma trompe)

  • Pfff.. that's nice :)

  • Italiano/English

ITA- La mia domanda: "Ci sono troppi bambini prodigio? c'è spazio per tutti loro? c'è spazio per le persone "normali"?"

ENG- My question: "Too many prodigy children?? Is there space for them all? Is there space for "normal" people?" ???

  • he plays it with a little toomuch pedal.

  • That's because he can barely reach it!

  • yeah, that may be ;)

  • J'en ai les larmes aux yeux.

    Il ira loin.

  • > I am a young pianist and

    > musician living in Jerusalem, Israel.

  • from where is this boy?? in my town have a boy like them..but less good..ARIEL,YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!

  • Ariel is from Jerusalem

  • Wicked!! Awesome boy!

  • How old is he?

  • Very good!

  • wow this kid is kool

  • Ariel is a terrific young pianist. Obiviously this piece isn't played perfectly; too bad no one knows how to set his bench height correctly - he's a little too low, and that actually might account for some of the struggle and the inaccuracies we're hearing. Sounds like he's capable of playing this etude well with a little more instruction.

That said, what a wonderful young talent! Hope the adults in his life will let him be a kid and help him avoid burnout.

  • Some of the remarks made here are true and Ariel has some work ahead of him. However the boy loves the music, this is very obvious and because of that I truly believe he will go far. He has the passion and the talent for it and certainly a whole life ahead of him. All the best to you my friend. Cheers.

  • This is why you learn difficult passages at a low speed first. Any skill that might have been displayed is masked by a non-stop sustain pedal spree.

  • HEy Ariel is to young for dating you girls over 18 so he has hired me for that part, just reply to me and i take you to Chopins Edute... =)

  • HE HaS A GIRL'S NAME WHICH MAKES ME A BETTER PERSON.

  • legendary! Wow...

  • tht is amazin

  • mdoub. You must be green with envy that Ariel at a very young age could play very well. Your attempt to darken his performance with your nasty comments to hide it didn't work. Everyone could still see you had turned deep dark green. You are despicable and that is the correct spelling of the word, not

"dispicable" as you had spelled it. Also, isn't is a contraction of is not. You also incorrectly spelled it as "isnt". How does it feel now to be criticized for your mistakes?

  • well done.very sensitiv playing

  • amazing...but only considering the technical aspect of the piece...this kid just needs to work on his interpretation and add some dynamics...other than that i'm sure he'll go far...

  • he has amazing technique, but the problem here is that his interpretaion is too part, somtimes even emotionless and unclear . I think it is better to play a little bit slower. HOwever, i have never seen a child who can play as well as he does.

  • have a look at Aimi Kobayashi if you want yo hear some real quality piano by a child.

  • klingsor93,

My jam dropped to the floor when I first heard Aimi Kobayashi play Mozart's 26th piano concerto(Coronation) Aimi is a true miracle! Ariel is amazing too!

  • My, you are truly great^^!!!! I hope you keep up the good work because this is excellent!

  • isnt the world obsessed with little things on the piano. i find it dispicable. the quality is minimal, the speed is there though. gosh he really butchered the etude.

  • mdoub,

Oh and you suppose you played this etude at his age.

I seriously doubt that. Post some videos and let's see how great you are.

  • ariel is the best

  • I love you.

  • incredibile, cosi piccolo e cosi grande allo stesso tempo

  • I don't freaking believe it. Insane.

  • unbelieveable!

  • this is sooo unbelievebal

  • wow sum 1 give him a cookie !!! well done my dude lol

  • Congratulations, Ariel! You are the best!! Fantastic!! Keeping playing this way and you'll be a legendary pianist!

    Best regards

    from a brazilian fan

  • superb..

  • You sir, are one amazing kid!

  • Wow!
