hi i was curious what is the difference between the evo3 and your car and i know its the engine is this a import of some sort how many kw difference or power from the stock evo 3 club spec is the version6

@stugats77 Differences between a club spec evo3 & a version 6 STI are:

1. Sti has inverted shock absorbers & stiffer springs

3. Sti has stiffer sway bars

4. STI has alloy front control arms

5. Sti has 4.44:1 diffs, Close ratio 5 speed & Suretrac rear LSD

6. STi has a factory forged EJ207 & VF28/29 turbo (evo is an EJ205 & Td04- same as normal WRX)

7. Sti has a 'quick rack' 2 turns lock to lock steering rack

8. Sti is 206Kw, Club spec EVO3 is 165kw

New engine build under way for this car:

Manley Rods, Wiseco forgies, Brian Crower 272 (10.5mm lift) cams, ARP Head studs & Case bolts...Etc etc.....

Original Ej207 has done 240,000 km since new and she's starting to have a little piston slap when hot, still doesn't use a drop of oil or miss a beat.
