Dude, I can watch this shit ALL DAY LONG!! I do it all the time, too! Just wish the gas prices were much lower, ya know? Just get on the Jersey Turnpike and head on down south and blast the muthafucker all the way up to eleven!! Sing baby, SING!! Of course, when I go back home, I'm too afraid to drive on public roads. But you seem to be doing extremely well there! Have you ever been pulled over by a cop beore? Do you have a Japanese driver's license? Or some kind of a permit??

I used my international permit the first few months I was here, but I took the test and got a Japanese DL in Oct of 2004. I had to renew it in 2007.

I've only been pulled over once - for not wearing my seatbelt.

Awesome tunnels, great views! Two quick questions, what is the meaning of those red lines painted on the road and do you use a GPS to get around at all?

the red lines are kinda like speed bumps, to alert you to a sharp curve coming up.

I don't use a GPS, but most cars in Japan do have a nav system.

in portugal that red things are used to the cars on the rainy days dont lose the grip on the turns.

Hmm, not too bad really....You actually know the words to the songs (unlike most car singers, who i oh so hate)...

But eh, I don't do this for two reasons.

1) I would look like a maniac singing *German metal songs in the car

2) I'm a purist, I'm not paid to sing, the singer should sing and no one else.

*Just as I was checking this, I was listening to a song called Reise, Reise (theres a video on YT with english lyrics, you'll see how English evolved from German..so cool.)
