do we really need to drain the pork knuckle using a "colander"? can't we just simply drain the the excess broth using a simple strainer? casserole? not a large pot ha? hmmm...
It is delicious!..bout the oil?..u can lessen th cooking fat when frying(at least it is fried half way through then when it is golden brown,just fry the other side(just be careful when doing this coz the hot oil is bursting)deep frying is still best for this recipe.thanks for the post.

furthermore more you can use the broth as a gravy just add vinegar, minced garlic, ground pepper and little flour and cooked until done
