Some may argue other bands are"better"than the beatles,whatever that means.Some argue what group is"greatest".One indisputable fact,the beatles were FIRST in innovation,all the rest followed.NO ONE CAN BEAT FIRST.It is a lot easier to follow when you have a roadmap to follow,and this map was forged by the beatles!Doubtful anyone will push the envelope of change like the Beatles ever again.Those who were lucky enough to live in those times witnessed in the music industry what will never be again.

Radiohead is the closest thing we've got in terms of pushing boundaries, but the 60's were a different time, the eastern influences were 'new' and the drugs too. Amazing to listen to the genesis of so many modern styles...
