  • 1 for in trouble, 2 for a good time, 3 for the lyrics, 4 for the rhyme!

  • OH MY GOD! THE MEMORIES! this is one of the tracks that influenced me the most, wow 19 years ago! hahah i make house music and dj it all over but i have to say these guys really influenced me with the energy they had in the music they made back then, defo the best album they did this one

  • This was recorded in braintree essex in the old cinema which became a club for a bit before the pigs got fucked off and now is a fucking WETHERSPOONS shit happens eh.

  • NOW THIS IS WHERE I KILL THE DANCER.

WATCH THE MC. KILL THE DANCER.

  • Id have gone crazy if i heard this at a rave!!!Just Bonkers!!

  • let it move you

  • One for the trouble, two for the time, three for the lyric, four for the rhyme.

Let it rock ! Let it rock !

  • 11 folks survived the tune :(

  • Rest In Peace we all :p

  • I was there, shame it's now a wetherspoons in Braintree now.

  • Killin´

  • Got to love the Top Buzz Mad P sample on this.

  • fucking aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • woooooooooooooooooot!!!! good ole days

  • woooooot wooooooot death of the prodigy dancers!!!!

  • NOTONITUNES D:

  • I'm 37 and still feel the need to don hotpants and a whistle! happy days!

  • there was a time when the rave music existed.....i'm sick of nowadays clubbing music .

  • @cercetasul:

...don't raves take place in clubs, though? Am I wrong in thinking this?

  • @thapoint09 half right , half wrong. many of the clubs insist only on clothing and being noticed , and cheap radio music . the meaning of serious party is a bit gone .

  • @cercetasul:

So you're saying the original purpose - to hear good music and have a good time - is gone?

  • @thapoint09 in many clubs , yes .

  • Tears came out of my eyes ...............

  • hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey! I'm pissed and I don't really care who invented it, I just think this track is the dog's dangleys.

  • Actually the First Person who was to Invent "Electronic Sound" NEVER got Recognition. Her name is Delia Derbyshire. And she had the Daunting Task of Creating a Haunting Electronic Theme for a new Brittish Sci-Fi TV Series WITHOUT SYNTHESIZERS.

Look up the Very First Electronic Album called "An Electric Storm" 1969 And be AMAZED!

Anyway, She Pulled through & STUNNED the entire World with the VERY First ALL Electronic Track & it Still sounds of the Future Even Today. You ALL know it. ALL of you

  • @therealKINDLE DR WHO

  • @skatechatham Well Done! ;) How it was Made, is Still not entirely known today!

  • HAHAHAHAHA the memories, how we used to dance for hours, love it

  • THE FITST TO START THE ELECTRONICA IT WAS PINK FLOYD TACCK RUNIN

  • @hunter1980100 You don't know what you're talking about m8. Do some Research b4 you make assumptions like that. They were Very Famous for their Electronic Styled Tracks yes. but they wern't the First by a LONG shot. They used a Synthesizer called the EMS Synthi VC3 which was invented by Dr Peter Zinovieff. But the Techniques of Musique Concrete were FAR ahead of their time & way before Synthesizers were even availible. So to credit Pink Floyd with first Electronica is incorrect.

  • @therealKINDLE A lot of bands during the 70s began experimenting with digitally synthesized music, ELO, Yes, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, to name a few... but the first song to truly be recognized as "electronica" rather than simply "dance" or "disco" let alone "acid rock" or "fusion rock" is a tune by Donna Summers "I Feel Love" 1977 (used your post as a thread bounce only, not agreeing or disagreeing with your summary, cheers)

  • @jeffrojune1970 Yeh see this is where I differ with everyone else. I am not concerned with Styles, Catagories or Names of Music. I Listen to the Music & take notice of how it was made, who realised it, & give credit to that person weather they are famous, or an unsung hero. I think if you're a Musician, you get to a certain stage & then just stop acknowledging Styles. You create what you think sounds right. And returning to the point; It's what The Prodigy did.

  • @jeffrojune1970

actually it was Mke Oldfield tha is credited with the creation of "eletronic" Music. Rememer Tubular Bells?

  • So many memories, love this.

  • The Prodigy x333

    I love =)

  • watch me kill the dancer im guna kill the fucking dancer

  • Death of the Dancers - LONG LIVE PRODIGY!

  • i have loved the prodigy for years, but really we should all be thankful for kraftwerk they basically started electronica

  • @aechaech

It's not Kraftwerk who started electronica, there are other bands, like Perrey and Kingsley and White Noise. You should thank Delia Derbyshire for starting electronic music, and Ron Grainer to some extent, not Kraftwerk.

But the Prodigy made it GODLIKE, made it PERFECT!

  • p.s. i LOVE Prodigy they are the best, will they ever make a bad song? retorical question ofcourse they wont, they are way to good.

  • by the way fuck america, it has given us NOTHING and i mean NOTHING throu out history, well nothing appart from wars and commertial bull shit anyway, they are killing the music culture off.

oh and by the way Techno is from a small place called Liverpool, which has spawned some of the biggest music movements, not from America so get your facts right.

  • @sfliddie - Except perhaps the entire dance music genre... Without the inspiration of Chicago in the mid 80's you wouldn't be listening to this or anything like it... We have to thanks the yanks for that...

  • when a pill was a fukin pill

  • 1:50 ...... GIRLS!

  • whatever happened to unity?

keep babbling on about what country is better, it's exactly what they want you to do...

US is fucked and so is the UK. get over it and dance.

  • early 90's, best nights of my life

  • what a quality tune happy days

  • where'd all the conflict come from?! we're sitting here listening to an awesome band...

  • lol comments

  • The prodigy is a British group sporned of the english rave scene... nothing to with any yanks so stop trying to take credit for something you know nothing about!!!

  • @Tomfrompregradacity Actually this is one of their best :)

  • "just enjoy it who fucking cares where it comes from. prodigy is the best ever though" this This THIS.

let's all get along and get lost in the sounds of the prodigy

  • first wtf does geography have to do with music you are all fucked just enjoy it who fucking cares where it comes from. prodigy is the best ever though

  • fuck americans they can keep there britneys tits lol and weel keep the best songs, they are made right here in the almighty britton

  • @housemasters1

We'd kick your ass in wars thought =P

And if it weren't for hip hop and rock and roll your country would have no music genres to make spin off sub genres of. =P

  • @housemasters1

BTW, Techno and electronica originated in the US. If it weren't for Americans, there would be no Prodigy. Watch your dirty brit mouth. lol, fish n chips. =P

  • @sAcRoSaNct17 yeah the shit electronica and techno.

  • @sAcRoSaNct17 And I believe the US was created by the Brits..and the SAS train your 'elite' Seals.. oh dear

  • @TheHontoir We'd still kick your ass though. The fact that you differentiated Americans and British tells that we're totally different people. But we're better =P

  • @sAcRoSaNct17 I think the fact that Americans are the only nation that insist on them being better than everybody else indeed makes them worse. Notice that in no way have I said the opposite.

  • @TheHontoir Ur country still sucks though =P

  • @sAcRoSaNct17 I havent told you what country I am from..

  • if it wasnt for the english america as a nation would not exist so shut the fuck up, america is just a shit load of ex europeans, ur ancestors came from here. dude ur country is fucked up, 90% of you are getting but raped by marketing. regardless of all that, just take a look at your governments past history and its quite clear that america is a fucking awful country, and most of its citizens are deliberately blinded to that fact. most just sit at home and focus on alpha waves all day long (TV).

  • still class

  • HARDCORE.... not techno, not house just old skool HARDCORE before it went shite!

Hardcore, U Know The Score. :)

  • Yep, PROPER hardcore. Not that stupid fast as fuck happy shite. One day we will be sitting in our rocking chairs telling our grandkids "This is proper music, none of your singing and instruments rubbish".

  • go and come on someone.....

  • i like pie :]

  • nope, this is the live version everybody saying its just got 'live noises' on it... search for 'death of the prodigy dancers studio' if u wanna hear it!

  • I always thought he said "Death of the fucking dancer!!" ever since 1st hearing this in '92! now I know.

  • this is proper ravin shit

  • I think this was recorded as part of Radio One live in Norwich in 1992.

Im not 100% but I think so.

  • I love the live version of "Their Law".

"I wanna see the back of your fuckin' heads"

  • whenever i think theres no more songs to listen to by prodigy i find a new one! fucking quality

  • mint tune. i listen to these and im 11

  • Me too :)

  • MUSIC FOR THE VODOO CREW

  • enisylo buddy i can make those sounds at my studio at home its not that hard. il just give you an example

comedys are recorded but you can hear laughing? its called canned laughter even crap dance music like scooter uses it alot to make it sound live.

  • exactly man, sampling.experience is the best prodigy album by far

  • Wat a sick tune!!!

  • szajba PL

  • no point asking about a studio version of this song becaue this is the studio version i know it sounds live but just incase you dont hear it. there is no cheering, whistling,or any noise by a crowed the song was released with an echo to give the impression that it is live.

  • actually there is a studio version which sounds much sharper, minus vox

  • What do you mean there is no sounds of the crowd?

02:00 to 02:25 you can hear whistles and a crowd...

And at the beginning as well...

Although I'm not sure if there is an actual studio version at all, as this could easily be a live only track...

  • This is the live version as stated on the back cover of the album, Experience. The studio version was apparently lost just before the album was about to come out so Liam Howlett used this instead. I have no proof of this being the reason I'm afraid but I can confirm that this is a recording from a live performance (with Maxim MC'ing).

  • temazo mi niño

  • ye ye ye

  • i looooooooooove the TB-303 sound!!!

  • the very intro to dis 1 is totally sikk

  • i am looking for a non live version of this song, can someone help me please.

  • przedobrze gniotą i będą aja

  • Not since the early 90s.

  • sympatycznie ja je

  • I used to do my paper round to this.... I'm gonna kill the F%$king dance. love it!!!

  • cool.

  • the background track to this is a song called 'music is my life' does anyone know who this is by and where i can download??

  • i need that tune so bad !!!!

  • The hard players-joy of music mate, no idea where you can download it buy i know its on you tube as well as this.

  • The best!!!!!

  • 1:58 to 2:23 there is a fat backing tune on this track and i have always wondered if it was used in another tune, and if so could any one please tell me what it is called cos it's great. Also to all you Prodigy fans respect and do you know there is a free tune on the Prodigy web site for download from their yet to be released Album in March called Invaders Must Die. Check it out. Long live The Prodigy.

  • That synth tune is just in this song, I havent heard it anywhere else. Your Love synth theme is a little bit similiar though but still not even close, you know? ;d And yes, Invaders Must Die is not close to these oldskool beats but still its quite badass.

  • craaaaazzzyy

  • 1st time hearing and i like it a lot now!!

  • lovee

  • fuck i cant believe this was recorded live!

the breakdown is just so sick

  • they are real prodigy

  • Does anyone know any other songs like this one? If so please reply to this comment...

  • Any old skool Prodigy will be similar to this. Early 90's UK 'OLD SKOOL' music is basically what this is, there are loads of tunes. I like ummm....Praga Khan - Injected With A Poison, thats pretty intense. Bizarre Inc - Playing With Knives is a classic. See what you reckon, if you like I'll recommend some more.

  • Yeah I've heard those tunes they're pretty cool. Know any more? Thanx for your help.

Hey, do you like the newer Prodigy stuff?

  • i no 1, Wake The Fuck Up, is quite like this 1

  • Takes me way back!!!

  • The Death of Desy Quinn!!

  • only song i ever did not hear live, but always wanted to.live on the prodigy experience.prodigy will live on forver

  • Sounds like mc magika.

  • its not magika, it dont even sound like him, this is maxime

  • yeah its maxim doing the vocals on this track.

wicked tune as always from prodigy

  • Why do people on youtube always post comments saying exactly what the video says. I FUCKING HEARD IT!!!!

  • Is that Keith Flint singing?

  • No...I think its Maxim..

  • THIS IS WHERE I KILL THE DANCER! WATCH THE MC KILL THE DANCER! DEATH OF THE PRODIGY DANCERS!

Maybe Keith is mimicking Maxim on songs like "Firestarter."

  • Don't know..sounds like Maxim to me but you could be right..

  • It's Maxim me thinks... sounds like him. This is my #2 fav from the Experience album.

  • It's REAL high school 1992.

  • This song is so duhuuumb...:)

...but can U believe if I say this is my FAVORITE from The Prodigy?

    It is.Really!I love it!

  • its not a sample its a (classic) synth, thats why you rememeber hearin it on whatever n whatever.

    bad tune!

  • was the sample at the beginning of this used in another old skool tune, i seem to remember hearing it with female vocals, if so does anyone know the name of it?

  • quality tune, there's a non-live version of this on the official prodigy site, i was looking to get my hands on it for years but listening to it now, i can see why they put the live version on the album, the studio versions just seems like it's missing something, still one of my fav old prodigy tunes

  • dood...can u post a link to it??? ive been DYING to hear a studio version since i first got the CD back in 94
