  • hahaha wat 'n homo

  • как почувствовать этот момент на грани срыва ?кто знает скажите !

  • oooupssssssss

  • Text book lay down! One cool character

  • Derrrrrr... everyone else crashes on this section of road, but I won't because I'm special! Hyuk Hyuk!!!

  • Poor body positioning and never use the rear break in the corner unless you like to crash.

  • Idiots and their bikes are soon parted.

  • Can scraping pegs throw you off balance?

  • @CmoreBuhts o yeah if do it bad enough it will pick ur back tire up off the ground it acts like a pivot point

  • @CmoreBuhts Yes, they act as a pivot, which takes the weight off the tires and causes the bike to slide out.

  • not that any crash is good but that was actually a pretty nice lowside

  • nice riding but go to a track if you wanna get you knee down !!! that way you are far less likely to die !!! words of wisdom here !!! peace

  • no protection gear? dumb ass.,

  • thumbs up if u think muholland hwy hates motorbikes

  • @gaggotgaggot haaaaaaaa, thats right

  • ITS OKAY EVERYONE ITS OKAY!!!!!! ITS JUST A HONDA! "that was a close one"

  • i like this guys with jeans , they scream so much when they fall

  • @fastandcurves1 he ripped the hole out of his arse.

  • its not real.

  • So many bike accidents on this stretch of road. It's like a bunch of sheep going off a cliff.

  • that poor bike :(

  • every single crash is on that turn wtf....

  • hahaah this ifiot was wearing jeans :D

  • If anyone sprays stuff to make the road slippery like that on purpose than u are a fuckin retard. How would u feel if someone got killed just cuz they crashed over that

  • Ja nice! Shit on that fucking Honda!

  • driftem poszedł XD

  • i think i saw a bananna

  • His crash is fucking sweet compared to all mine lol. I always fucking roll, I haven't figured out the sliding thing real well.

  • @Crakmonkey2647 lack of crashing practice on your part... thats a good thing.

  • @BrentShiver I lol'd :)

  • always the better bike to crash

  • so many crashes in that spot. I have never seen so many people go down in the same spot.

  • Great rider ,dumped the bike laid down of the pavement and pulls his leg out in time like he,s just going for a spin NO PANIC!

  • The Problem here is, that he doesn't use his knee as measuring point for when your bike is too far down. In this case, the tyres didn't have enough grip for his accelerating, and so they slipped.

  • Hey guys, can it be that this street is a bit slippery? This bike does not seem to be too fast for this curve. Maybe time for a new track surface?

  • @TheKralli, Well theres some problems with that. 1 It's not a track. It's a public roadway. 2. Its not that the road surface is too slippery, it's that they're banking it over too far. Now.. I'd probably do the same thing, in that corner, but idk something just keeps telling me they're easing over too far and putting out too much throttle.

  • you trust tyres too much. and street seems little bit old. anyway can happen! :)))

  • No grip

  • that is a big fucking corner, all crashes here :O.. be carefull!

  • Not leaning into it man!

  • I am not a rider, but hope soon to be, how come its only these "sport" bikes you see crashing like this, is it because when you corner in these you have to lean so far as opposed to cornering in a cruiser/touring or off road bike?

  • @FRVSniperNI cruiser wont lean as far but are very very slow around corners compared to these sports bikes... you see crashes like this because of an error in judgement... he shouldnt have accelerated so hard, at least until he was more upright... even if there was oil on the road

  • @sudusurfer thanks, people keep telling me how dangerous riding is going to be, but you can only be as careful as you can and I figure a 1964 triumph tr6c wouldn't be as dangerous as these 1000+cc sports bikes, however I suppose it relys nearly all on the rider not the machine.

  • how come everybody crashes in that mulholland corner?

  • What does 'Hwy' mean?

  • @Johny40Se7en It means "Highway".

  • @eltotoX thanks

  • it happens all the time, the guy is leaning the wrong way. he is pushing his hips off the seat but pulling his head back away from the turn. if he leans his body off the bike, it can stay more upright and stable through the turn.

  • When u see people on curvy roads with cameras and video recorders, slow down. lmao

  • @JWMJesse or give em good footage lmfao

  • @JWMJesse no duh, thats when you show off and then crash!

  • Nice videos mate, keep em coming.

  • skid marks at 0:11 from foot break

  • NO

  • @skins017 NO

  • @skins017 There is so many videos, of people sliding down on this coroner. There must be something wrong with the roads surface, Bad angles sect. I think the road has two different angles at that point. It's not funny. Poor road design. Instead of have the banking from the curve, It slopes the other way. Just hard to see from the video. My 2 cents

  • @skins017 o really?

you can obviously tell by the movement the bike makes that it wasnt the front wheel that caused this..

  • 1 my my neighbor recently died from a motorcycle accident

  • why do people continue to ride ther, ive seen nothing but crashes

  • Motorcycle bowling!

  • if you listen you can hear the pegs scraping, prolly caught the asphalt

  • Why is it that everone screws up on that turn?

  • @samuszation3 I want to ask that the same

  • Parts!! motorcycle parts!!!

  • Hit his peg on the asphalt at 0:04 that's what caused it....

  • Sheesh I have to remember this turn if I ever make it out to ride the West Coast.

  • jeans-gunna leave a mark

  • Isn't this the infamous off camber corner?

  • Steering is good, but lost tracktion because of accelerating too much.

  • I love BUTTERED popcorn

  • There must be something up with the asphalt there (oil and/or grease on the road....probably from the cameramen ;P )! Considering how many riders have bitten it right there, plus this guy did not goose the throttle during the turn (maybe after the tire slipped it revved up). He was just rolling on the throttle gradually, like we were taught to do in the MSF-BRC.

  • seems like it could of been prevented with better riding position, if he leans off the bike the bike will be more upright pretty basic really and you can increase your speed around the turns . try it out you can see the difference straight away.

  • Watched through a LOT of your videos now. Do you guys over there all run cheap tyres? I cant understand why so many bikes have low-sided on the same piece of dry road. Either that, Or it's a greasy bit of road? It's not even like the bikes are going extremely fast, just seem to be loosing the front or back wheel all the time.

Some cracking videos though! Lovely riding spot.

  • this is definitely "You go where you look"

the dude saw the chicks and kept paying attention to them, then ...oh shit...I'd have looked through the turn not these chicks!!!

  • as soon as they past the guard rail they seem to get cocky ^^

  • looks and sounds to me like he started dragging a footpeg real hard and it un-weighted the rear tire. nice and slow tail-out.

  • I love Honda cbr 600s!

  • Bet there's some dust on the road right there too from that nearby hill-side that has no vegetation holding it together.

  • was a nice bike... was!

  • @rnickeymouse You guys are oiling that corner for view count, admit it

  • atleast theres not trees everywhere. like here. after watching these vids im getting a cage on my gsxr and full leathers boots etc

  • definately ur fault w/ the throttle pushing too hard on exit!

  • get the road fixed, or put a slow down sign! ... same side of the road! same curve and same guard rail!...

have u ever wonder why cameramen have great angles on their shots?

    they know!

have pity on the riders! please...

  • WHY is everyone in america riding in jeans?? :S

  • @k0ent They could be kelvar reinforced you know... :S

  • need to shift your weight to the inside of the corner this is what happens when u expect the tyres(tires) to do all the work

  • OMG... he never ;eaned very good.. Bad body position and lean angle.. LOL!!!

  • Was he trying to drag knee in jeans?

  • how come they slide so easily away?

  • Most people dont understand how far exactly he is leaning that bike. And think themselves have leaned that much before. So in the viewers head they are thinking "hmmmm, i can accelerate harder out of the corner than that". Not realising this guy is probably alot further over than they can drop the bike

  • Have to ask this . In the us , do dealers supply crap tyres or something ?. In the uk our roads and weather are shite but, the tyres i use just seem to find grip everywhere .

  • @davemr1966 Well that's because we Brits have to drive through endless roadworks, thus can't go over 20mph

  • @Someloke8895 ha ha ,, good point .

  • Yep he is twisted on the turn rather than using good throttle control and pushing down on the bar

  • Tem muito amador com moto potente achando q sabe pilotar. Essa é a realidade!

  • it doesnt want any racing licence to make it to the end of the turn JUST THINK! omg this ppl should get a scooter.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't understand. He wasn't even going fast. Did he drop it on purpose?

  • @ThePrivateJoker

Accelerating too much coming out of that turn is what it looks like to me.

  • @MonicaRidesMoto Crappy back tire lol

  • @MonicaRidesMoto

If you listen, there's a little snick as something touches down before he loses it. Sounds like a peg.

  • @MonicaRidesMoto And the rear wheel lost the traction.

  • @MonicaRidesMoto

Yep. Lean the bike back up, then accelerate.

  • @MonicaRidesMoto That's exactly what it is !

  • Stupid people oiling the road to record falling riders!

  • seems like everyone who fell at that turn chose their line through the turn poorly.

  • I bet this guy wished he had bought the ass-armour.

  • The reason people are crashing on this corner is because it a decreasing radius turn, going UPhill.

Both of these factors lend towards lowsides, as riders either lean too far as the turn becomes tighter, and/or the compressed bike suspension (from the road going uphill) brings the bottom of the bike closer to the ground (where a bit can "catch", causing a lowside).

    Hope that explains it.

  • @ThePirateMD

Everything you said plus a nice little camber

  • jeans + sportbiks = squid

  • why do they keep crashing when they seem to be going so slow- is there something wrong with the road?

  • ..."near Malibu and the famous Rockstore." OK, that explains it all...cold tyres, and greedy with the throttle. I'd love to know what tyres these guys are using? Probably 'sticky' tracday ones, that aren't at all sticky unless up to temperature, which they wont be at these speeds!

  • Fucking Mario with those banana peels!!! FUCK YOU!

  • I have watched a lot of these vids on this corner What the hell is wrong with the road surface? Most of the bike crashes are lowsides!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah keep leaning like a bitch and keep playing with the throttle...

  • what the hell is he sliding on...i wouldn't even call it a lean when he started scraping on the road???

  • I'm no pro yet but his body position is not very good which is why he leaned so far down. Could someone tell me how they could recover if the back tire starts slipping like that? Hold throttle and counter steer to balance the bike back?

  • @MyChib Turn into the direction the back wheel is slipping, don't touch your brakes. Still sometimes you gotta just let 'er go and enjoy the slide.

  • peg scraped... pity...

  • You guys gotta quit putting oil on the exit of that turn.

  • @giveabighand [GERMAN] that's just what I wanted to mention. you're damn right. I mean look at all those clips from this corner - they're all quitting at the same spot. they must have sprayed some chainoil or something on the road to get some cool vids. especially the R1 video makes me wonder, as he was driving so smooth and excact... and suddenly his rear wheel loses grip!

  • @giveabighand hahaha

  • I think what causes ALOT of these low-sides on here is that everyone leans like crazy but doesn't drag knee, if this guy was to drag knee he would have never gotten into the corner that low and therefore would have never ran out of tire.

  • Need to lean bike less and get his ass right over half way off the seat.

  • this has nothing to do with the bike its the rider

  • there is a trick to this turn all the people that crashed came in short instead of taking the turn wide so they can straighten out by the end.

  • He gave it too much gas in the turn and forgot he had a racing bike and the back wheels rubber lost contact from the pavement from the torque the motor put on it.

  • you need some drift lessons XD

  • ok now that sucks. The F4I is an absolutely beautiful bike. I feel bad for the owner...

  • Atleast he low sided instead of high siding....that saved him some pain!!!!

  • Rear tire broke loose and ran ahead of front tire . . . what's that tell you? hm?

  • I agree DJRCMACH! Have a copy of Twist Of The Wrist. If you look closely in this video, the road 's left side is lower than the right on the corner that helps vehicles to turn easier and at the end of the corner, the road is slightly leaning on the right. It will let your front wheel to leave the ground during banking. What I can say is that you can avoid crashing by slowing down and immedietly straight up at the end of curve when you are fast.

  • Dude...Thats the corner they take all the photos as you drive by

  • l'asfalto fa schifo.....cascate tutti li...cambiate strada

  • No skills, but driving in jeans... retard.

  • @Nightscreener how is he a retard? hes learning just like everyone else

  • @Likeafoxow Dont want to be rude, but especially as a beginner, driving on a obviously challenging track, why for xx sake would you ride a bike in jeans? I think what he learned that day is: " If jeans stick to your skin, its pretty hard to pick the sand out of you knees".

  • @Nightscreener you never know what he's wearing. those "jeans" might be kevlar jeans. and if they arent, so what. and lots of beginners dont want to pay for 500 dollar gear.

  • @Likeafoxow because he trying to ride fast with no leathers

  • @Nightscreener if u look closely at the slow motion, i think these are bike jeans, with all the protectors underneath. i think even Dainese has such jeans,

  • You should make some compilation of Mulholland crashes, I wouldn't have to switch between the movies. Nice road btw!

  • Where is this part of Mullholland Hwy located?

  • if he wasnt wearing gloves his hand would be toast

  • @1evilz06

Well, from MY understanding/experience, if you keep ur body in line with the bike you are forced to lean the bike further then if you hang off the bike... If you hang off the bike you are able to keep the bike more upright and bike more up right = more traction...

His peg hits, but if he was to hang off, his bike would be more up right = more clearance = peg possibly not hitting...

Well at least that's what logically makes sense to me...

  • @jlugolok

Your right! Thats why I keep sayn noobs! In a normal turn the riding positon being in line with the bike would be fine. But this isn't a normal turn,at all. The slight pitch in the turn is just enuff to add lean angle and another one bites the dust! The camber in this turn is decieving. One guys screams this turn is flat. NO WAY! Think about if it poured down rain,Do you think it would pound up in the road?NO WAY. a land serveyer would say the same its not flat!

  • 1Evilz06 I agree with what your saying, but IMO it all boils down to poor body position. I also agree that there are A LOT of noobs in Cali, JUST LIKE ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD. There are LOTS of very skilled riders in Cali as well, again JUST LIKE ANYWHERE ELSE. on that note, I would love to tare s#¡7 up in NC. =) I've seen videos of that place and it looks awesome!!!

  • @jlugolok

His body is in line with the bike and that a good position. The culprit in all the vids is the turn/noobs riding the turn. That pitch is just enuff to add lean. If your close to max or at it guess what you win? Look @ the suzuki low side vid! Then the suzuki high side vid. The low side vid proves what Im sayn is true/fact. Look at the yellow lines they go partly throught the turn and you dont see them anymore. They dont stop, its that they are on the other side of the pitch

  • wow ive seen like 6 videos of this turn, and 6 wrecks.

  • I posted the Answer on another vid the ( suzuki gsxr lowsides on mullholand) Everybody is says it this and that, they are wrong......The answer to why they are having get offs? ITS A OFF CAMBER LEFT TURN. A noob has no clue... You lean the camber changes the lean increases, you scrape the peg,you upset the rear and PRESTO! You cali boys need to come to NC The Dragon. But If yall can handle this little road....LOL

  • I would lowside anyday than highside

  • @DRPraeuner nah man highsides are more fun. Bigger airtime. Out of all my crashes that was the most exciting one. Strangely enough, it was also at the highest speed and I got the least hurt. haha take that safety speed nazis!!!

  • at 0:05 you alredy start to hear scratching... i dunno if he noticed or not but if i started to hear scratching i think i would slow down pretty much straight away lol hope him and the bike didnt suffer too much

  • let go of the throthle while counter steering

  • what caused that?

  • its funny how people are already standing there waiting for someone to fall.. lmaoo

  • @colombianzpapi that is kinda messed up actually.

  • There's something slippery on the road! Exact same spot. sometimes the spot moves to the guard rail. The slideouts are never in certain spots on that same area. This should tell you something. Some one needs to watch this area! Look at all the videos there are 2 locations that this is happening at. All the rest of the turn is okay.

  • In all the crashed, once you hear the pegs scraping, that is a sign of crash to come.

  • NO LEAS ESTO!!SI LO AS LEIDO COPIA Y PEGA ESTO EN 5 VIDEOS MAS SI NO LO HACES TU MADRE MORIRA EN 3 DIAS POR FAVOR HACEME CASO ES UNA MALDICION

  • rear brake locked?

  • There's a lesson in all this. NEVER DRIVE THIS ROAD

  • I think every motorcyclist should be given a free copy of "Twist Of The Wrist 1&2"

Free when you get a license!

It changed my riding a bit, and made me THINK......

  • @DJRCMACH

    Brilliant Comment dude

  • Maybe it's the road, look how many videos there are on lowsiding and highsiding in this same exact spot.

  • @himfan1 it is the road. Im on the snake all the time and the end of it where this guy went down is actually a bit off chamber. You gotta be real gentle getting back on the throttle after you hit the apex cuz the damn thing is slide out from under you if ur not careful.

  • Now I see why sportbike riders wear such good safety gear!

  • ma la guardate la moto gp????il corpo va tenuto basso...piu basso è il corpo meno si piega la moto...e meno si rischia il low-side...che fenomeni...

  • aluisious, they're all loosing it from the rear. not the front. i'm not a pro and i see that they all lost it because the blipped the throttle on the way out trying to make a fast exit.

  • @kasbekz you have the idea... there is a long straight after this from the looks of things; all the riders seem to get on the throttle at close to max lean; much too early.

  • Sounded like he was dragging a peg due to having to lean the bike too far because he needed to get out of the seat more. I had a similar issue with an F4i where I drug the passenger peg and it unweighted the rear tire. If you listen to the sound you can hear it dragging 1-2 seconds before he gets on the throttle.

  • Horrible body position...
